Greetings! I come from the incredible country of India, and I want to begin by extending my heartfelt thanks for choosing to read this book. Your support means the world to me, and I’m already sending you a virtual hug for being here.

This is my debut novel—my very first full-length work—and I truly hope you enjoy reading it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it.

The book you’re holding is titled Neith, a General Fiction novel set in Egypt. Although I’ve categorized it as Historical Fiction, since the story is placed in the past and I’ve tried to retain certain elements of real history, I must mention that it does diverge from historical accuracy in some parts. Please accept my apologies if any of these deviations are unsettling or offensive.

The characters in this book are purely fictional, and any resemblance to real-life individuals is entirely coincidental.

The inspiration for Neith came to me during a conversation with my best friend about Wattpad while the movie Mulan was playing on my PC. If you haven’t seen the animated version of Mulan yet, I highly recommend taking a break to watch it—it’s an incredible movie. You may even notice a few subtle influences from the film in this book.

As this is my first draft, there might be a few grammatical errors, so if you happen to spot any, I would greatly appreciate your feedback. I also welcome any constructive suggestions, as they help me improve as a writer.

I believe the plot of Neith is filled with intriguing twists and turns, and I sincerely hope you find it as captivating as I intended.
