Sammy and I cheer from where I'm standing holding her in front of our seats and hear the voice come out through the speakers while the show goes to commercial for the people at home.

I take a deep breath upon hearing those words and sit back down with Sammy on my lap.

This is the first awards show I've ever been invited to, so I brought my baby sister.  And thankfully I get to see my girlfriend after a month of her being on tour.
