Mika's POV
Masaya ako.
Pero hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala. I'm a mom! Yes, I'm a mom now. At the most unexpected time! Hindi ko alam kung kaya ko. But for sure, kakayanin ko with Ara by my side. Hindi ko din ma explain ang feeling ko the first time I laid my eyes on Athena. Athena, my baby girl. OUR baby girl.
Kalalabas ko lang mula sa kwarto dahil ipinasok ko na muna ang gamit niya sa loob ng kwarto namin ni Ara. Hindi ko maiwasang mapangiti. She's outspoken, optimistic, and too smart for her age. She's five, yet she was able to understand why she has to live with a mom and a mom... and more mommies for that matter. And the bullies love her!
"Mommy Ye!" she called out.
Lumapit na ako sa kanila pero nanatili lang akong nakatayo sa tabi ni Ara na kandong kandong siya. "Yes baby?"
"Aren't we going to have dinner yet?" hawak niya sa kamay ko, and believe me, hindi ko ma explain talaga ang nararamdaman ko. Her holding my hand? Calling me mommy? Too soon to happen to me. To us. Pero nandito na to. I'm happy. But still... "I'm hungry.."
"Come on, let's eat!" masayang saad ni Cienne saka tumayo na at tinulungan pa si Athena para makatayo mula sa pagkakandong kay Ara.
"You're gonna love what Mommy Mela cooked!" hawak ni Camille sa kabilang kamay niya.
Dumiretso na silang lahat sa kitchen. Maliban samin ni Ara. And hindi ko lubos akalain na parang mas excited pa ang mga kaibigan namin kesa sakin!
"Are you okay?" tanong ni Ara.
"Ahmm. Yeah. I still just can't believe it.."
"She's amazing, right?"
"Ahh. She is."
"Everything's going to work out." halik niya sa noo ko. "We have our own little family now. Just like I promised you.."
Yeah. Just like she promised me. But I didn't see it coming this early.

Katatapos lang namin magdinner at nagkayayaanan na ring umuwi ang bullies pati sina Sophie at Riri.
"Baby, mag shower ka na." sabi ko kay Athena habang naghahanap ako ng pantulog niya.
"Okay Mommy! But can you set the water to warm? It's really cold!"
"Ako na baby! Come here." biglang pasok ni Ara sa kwarto.
