CHAPTER 1: Moving Forward

“Miss, magsasara na kami miss.” bungad sa akin ng isang bartender sa bar na pinuntahan ko after breakup with Dery.

“uhmmm??”

“Miss” sabi nya pa.

“Leave me alone please.” I said.

“Miss magsasara na kami. Umuwi kana ho” he still said.

“Pwede ba? Wag kang mangingialam sa buhay ko? I'm destroyed” I said and started to cry again.

I stopped hearing words from him. Sa tingin ko'y nagsawa rin sya kakagising sakin

“Bakit ba kasi ang hilig manloko ng mga lalaki ngayon ha?” and my voice started to sound different.

And then I heard a voice. A very familiar voice.

“Sabi na nga ba't andito ka.” yes. That's kuya.

Sinakay nya ako sa kotse nya. And then dinala sa bahay.

“Jusko Sir. Ano pong nangyare kay bebegirl?” that's ati Manda, my nanny since birth.

“Ati, paki-buksan naman ho ng pinto ng kwarto ni Sav” Kuya said.

The next day at Enderan University.

“Bat parang ang gwapo ng driver mo ngayon” my friend Adelka said.

“Ah. That's kuya.” I said.

“Ohhh? Pano na si Dery nyan?” she said.

“No more Dery and Savree.” I said.

“Buti naman Sab! Natauhan ka rin sa wakas” Ori said. Oops, she is.

“Sabi na nga ba't niloloko ka lang nyang si Dery na yan eh. Alam mo ba na kasa–” I refrain Delka's

“Stop it. I'm still not moved on. So please refrain from making a topic of that. Please. I need you guys now” I said and then continue walking until I reached our clasroom.

I came to school an hour before the class hours. And I'm almost an hour na nakatunganga dito sa classroom. Diba ang saya? No it's not –_–

Finally, the bell rang.

“Good morning class” that's Mr. Lopez, our P.E. professor.

“Wala po si Mrs. Tan?” tanong ko.

“Malelate raw si Mrs. Tan. So shift muna kami ng sched. Any problem Ms. Roosevelt?” he said.

“ah. None sir” I answered.

“By the way class, you're interpretative dance will be conducted next week. So be ready. Ok?” he said.

“Yes sir,” our response.

Lunch time, I'm with my ASO friends. ASOming – Adelka, Sanny, and Ori. This year ko lang sila naging friends because nobody tried to make friends with me, maliban nalang kung ako ang kakausap sa mga tao sa paligid ko. Only them have done so. Hahahaha but if u think I'm bad, well think again. I just look like a b*tch but I'm not totally that. Ang bait ko kaya!

Btts. Since lunch naman, napagkasunduan namin na kumain sa restau a kilometer away from the campus.

“Sus. Magbebreak din kayo” I've said while entering the restau. Puro ba naman couple ang nagdedate sa loob.

“Bitter lang Sav?” Adelka said.

“Dun tayo umupo” I said and didn't mind what Adelka said.

“Alam mo Sav, best place for you itong restau nato.” Ori said.

“Huh?”

“Puro kasi hugot lines sa window panes. Baka matulungan ka” Ori said and then laughed a little.
