“You ready? Everyone's inside. Wag ka mag alala, andun yung ibang committee natin to support you. I know you can do it” pagpapalakas ng loob ko ni Mr. Veles.
Bumuntong hininga pa ako bago ko pinasok ang hall.
“Good morning everyone. I am Architect Savree Agatha Roosevelt, the President of E-Homes Corporation” as I entered, saktong pagngiti ko kay Eduard.
“Okay so let me start”
“I, together with our Engineers and Architects in the E-Homes Corp, have planned about my very first project in my term. I named it an, Open Arms Project which is exactly an orphanage for those who have no home, such as the street children, the aged lolos and lolas, and those people who will need a help. I was inspired to do it, because last Sunday, while I'm on my way to corp. when I was caught on a traffic.” I said habang pine-present na sa kanila yung ginawa kong powerpoint.
“A child knocked me on my window in my car. A very dirty street girl. She's begging me to give her what I could give. If I gave her a twenty pesos, she could just buy a small amount of bread for her snacks. If I gave her larger amount of money, somebody might going to stole it. So instead, I brought her to the nearest food chain, which is at McDo. There, I bought her a lunch and have talked to her. She shared her story to me about her and her family. And unfortunately, her mother had given her other four siblings to those who have no child before her mother totally left her side. Actually, I brought her home and took care of her. Everytime I go home, she's always at the sofa, waiting for me.” I said.
“By the way, she's Gelay” I added.
“Okay, so she's one of the reasons why this kind of project formulated on my mind. And I really want your help to collaborate with me.” I said.
“So where do you wanted to build this project?” asked by one of Maunlad's committee.
“Near Rosal Avenue. Mas tahimik ang lugar na yon for the people” I said.
“Okay so, thank you for sharing your project with us, Architect Roosevelt. I will just give you the list of Engineers I will be sending to help you. Congratulations” as Maunlad's Corp. President stood up.
Isa-isa kong kinamayan ang nasa koob ng session nato, including Eduard na pilit kong nginitian.
“Congrats, Architect. I told you, you can” bati sakin ni Mr. Veles.
Pasakay na sana ako ng van ng corp, nang bigla kong makasalubong si Ed.
“Congrats, Sav” bati nya sakin na pilit ko lang ulit na nginitian.
“How's my proposal? Have you already checked it?” he asked.
“Ah yup. It's good. My secretary have already sent an email to you about our meeting schedule” I said.
“So, can I go now?” I asked.
“Can we talk?” he keeps on asking
“I'm busy. Excuse me” I said and go.
Pagkarating namin sa corp, pinasalubungan ko ng jollibee ang buong kompanya.
“May pakain ang Presidente” puna ni Kent.
“Let's celebrate guys! The project will soon to be built! Thankyou so muuuuuuch!!!” pasasalamat ko sa kanila.
