CHAPTER 53: Shocks

Savree's POV.

“Van, paki-inform naman yung client ko that I rescheduled our appointment on Friday, next week. Busy kamo ako. And, I didn't have plan yet on his project” sabi ko sa secretary ko.

“Si Engr. Simons po Architect?”

“Yes” I said and went back to my office.

Habang busy ako sa kakaayos ng schedule ko, bigla namang may kumatok.

“Yes?” I asked without giving a look.

“Sobrang busy naman po ng Señora ko” he said.

“Oh Lucas, come in. Diba office hours mo ngayon? Bat andito ka?” I asked, now gave him a look.

“Bumili kasi ako sa labas, and naisip ko na dalhan ka nito. Tama nga ako, busy kana naman dyan sa schedule mo” he said sabay abot sakin ng Shawarma.

“Thankyou ah. Nako, solve na panigurado ang sakit ng ulo ko sa work” I said.

“Mas solve pa lalo dahil nakita mo na naman ang ubod ng gwapo mong best friend” he said

“Ha.ha” I said.

“Pano ba, mauna nako. Dinaan ko lang talaga yang shawarma sayo. Oh, solved na ha” he said

“Thanks again, Lucas!” I said bago pa man sya lumabas ng office ko.

Pagkalabas ni Lucas ay pinagpatuloy ko na ang kanina ko pa ginagawa. Habang inaayos ko naman yung schedule ko, nakita ko bigla yung project proposal sakin ni Eduard, so I take my time to read the whole documents.

It's nice. He wanted reforms of the LRT and MRT railways. He also has good objectives for the project. So, it's okay. ~ Baka naman isipin nya na umiiwas talaga ako sa kanya pag di ko inaprubahan to. So, I signed to his proposal which means, I'm into it.

After that, nakaisip agad ako ng isang project na pwede kong magawa. So, pinatawag ko ang secretary ko.

“Yes Architect, tawag nyo daw po ako?”

“I'll be setting a meeting about my very first project. Now. Please tell it to the rest of our Engineers and Architects together with the executives” I said.

“Okay po”

Agad akong gumawa ng simple presentation na ihaharap ko mamaya during my meeting with them.

“Good afternoon” nakangiting bati ko sa kanila nang pumasok na ako ng hall.

“Okay, so I called a meeting for this very special project that I want to propose with you” as I started.

“I named it, an Open Arms Project.”

“And I need you guys to cooperate with me in this project. This is a home for the street children and even those who have been out in their family”

“When can we start that Architect?” Engr. Kent asked.

“As soon as possible”

“So, who are the people you will be collaborating with?” the Manager asked.

“Why don't we get some Engineers and Architects from other companies? While the rest of our employees are focus on their client meetings. What do you think?” I said.

“I agree” agad na pagsang-ayon ng karamihan.

“But if you have any suggestions for this project, say it” I said.
