Chapter Twenty-Seven

I don't know what's really into me right now. Alam ko that I am not suppose to feel this way.. but I did. I am feeling confused in everything. 

"Hey guys!" bati ni ate Raffy ng makalapit siya sa table namin. 

"Hey your face!" inis na sabi ni Ate trisha. 

Parang nag taka naman si Ate Raffy sa inakto ni Ate trisha "Anong problema mo?"

Pero inirapan lang siya ni ate Trisha.

I saw ate Raffy look at ate Nicole and mouthed 'anong problema nun?'

"Ikaw kasi hindi mo sinabi agad you have a new girl."

There is something deep me that strikes me when I heard what my ate had told ate Raffy. Lalo na ng ngumiti at tumawa lang si Ate Raffy sa sinabi ng kapatid ko. 

Is there really something going on between Cassy and Ate Raffy?

Pero ang hindi ko maintindihan bakit nung umamin ako kay Cassy regarding my gender orientation ay iniwasan niya ako. Pero bakit ngayon.. why she is with ate Raffy?

"Alam niyo ang dami niyong alam." sabi ni ate Raffy. "She's different from any other girls okey.. she's special to me." sabi ni Ate Raffy.

Shemay... bakit parang ang hirap huminga.

"Paano mong nakilala si Cassy?" it was ate Alex who asked the same question I want to ask. Wala kasi akong maalala na pinakilala ko si Cassy kay Ate Raffy. Sa pag kaka alam ko they haven't meet yet.

Napakunot noo naman si Ate Raffy. "How did you know her?" 

"Simple.. she's Andy's friend." si Ate Nicole naman.

"D@rn it! Yung babaeng matagal ko ng hinahanap eh malapit lang pala." sabi ni ate Raffy "Wait.. teka" palinga linga ito "Asan na ba yun? Ayun! CASSANDRA!" Seconds later yung baabeng pinapanood ko mula sa malayo ay nasa may harap na namin.

"Stop calling me Cassandra." inis na sabi ni Cassy kay ate Raffy at umupo sa tabi ni ate Nicole. Not even bothering to look at me. As if wala ako.. As if I don't exist.

"I wonder how you two meet." tanong ni ate Nicole.

"I know her since we were in high school." sagot ni ate Raffy na naupo na sa tabi ni ate Trisha.

Tumingin naman sila kay Cassy at tumango lang ito. 

"Paano?" tanong ni ate Mika

"Cassandra.. I mean.. Cassy is the first girl who made me confuse about my gender. She is also the reason why I am playing basket ball right know. After I saw her play basketball D@mn! Nag simula na akong mag ka interest nun." mahabang sabi ni ate Raffy " I consider Cassy as my first girl crush."

Marunong siyang mag basketball? 

"Ang OA mo Raffy." sabi ni Cassy. Na umiiling iling pang naka ngiti.

"What?" sagot naman nito "You know that right?"

"You play basketball Cassy?" takang tanong ni Ate Nicole "I thought you don't know any sports." 

"I didn't say that. Ang sabi ko ayokong mag laro ng kahit anong sports." then she sip on her drink.

"Did you know about it Andy?" then they all look at me. Even Cassy. At wala akong makitang kahit ano sa mata niya. 

Umiling ako.

"Gosh.. ang secretive mo huh." sabi ni ate Nicole.

"It's not a secret." sabi nito.

"I-kwento mo yung buong story Raf." sabi ni Ate Mika

Tumingin naman ito kay Cassy as if asking for permision.
