Chapter Forty-Two

Cams

I haven't get over from the talk that I had with Andy. Hindi ako makapaniwala that she will cheat on Eunice. Sa pag kakakilala ko sa kanya she will never do that. But well, she cheated with not just anybody.. for pete's sake its Cassy! Si Cassy yun.. her first love... the girl that made her jump to play for the other team, the girl na nag paliko ng daan kay Andy, the girl who broke the straight ruler of Andy. Geez.. I am dissapointed, really I am. But I can't do anything about it. Ngyari na.. may ngyari na. And I can't blame Andy. 

"Cams?" it was a familliar voice. Huminto ako at lumingon "Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Tanong ng babaeng isa sa dahilan ng iniisip ko kanina. "Are you going to see Jam?" 

I just look at her at nakakaramdam ako ng inis. D@mn she is my friend pero hindi ko maiwasang mainis pag katapos ng nalaman ko. I started to hate her right now.. Bakit ngayon pa? When Andy is starting to move on from her.. when Andy is having a life with Eunice.. Bakit ngayon pa siya papasok ulit? But there is a part of my mind is telling me I can't blame her too because she didn't know kung ano ba talaga ang nararadaman ni Andy. Hindi niya alam that Andy is head over heels sa kanya noon pa. She didn't know anything. 

Nung mga oras na nasasaktan si Andy dahil sa kanya... yung panahon na walang ibang ginawa si Andy kung umiyak at masaktan.. yung mga bagay na kailangang isakripisyo ni Andy para sa kanya... Yun lahat ng  bagay na ginawa ni Andy para sa kanya. 

 Hindi ko mapigilang mainis at magalit sa kanya. And I am not supposed to feel this way... I am her friend... but d@mn! Andy is my best friend. I was there all the time ng nasasaktan siya because of her.

"Hey! Okey ka lang Cams?" tanong niya sa akin as she wave her hand infront of my face while wearing her usual smile.

"Okey lang ako." I coldly said to her na nag pakunot ng noo niya

"May problema ba? May problema ba tayo?" tanong niya

I just stare at her.. but the way I look says something and I think she got it. We were friends.. we know each other.. just the mere look we can say things that only us friends can read.

"She told you, did she?"

"So?"

"I get it." she smile but I know it was a sad one.

"What are you up to Cassy?"

"Cams.. she's important to me.."

I cut her off "Important?" I mocked "After what had happened sasabihin mo sa aking importante lang siya sayo?"

"Cams.."

"Cassy may na sisira kang relasyon... may sinisira kang relasyon."

Nakitang napayuko siya sa sinabi ko. And I want to take back what I had said. Syempre dahil kaibigan ko din naman siya pero hindi ko na pwedeng bawiin pa yun. I can't do it dahil nasabi ko na.

"You don't have the right para pagsalitaan siya ng ganyan Cams." Agad akong napalingon sa likod ko.

And I see Jam looking at me seriously. 

Alam ko yung mga tingin niyang yun. I know her, I know she really doesn't like what she heard.

"You don't know anything Jam. So please, just stay out of it." sabi ko sa kanya

Nakita ko ang pag taas ng kilay niya. "I don't know anything? I think YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING."  pinag diinan niya yung huling apat na salita.

"Jam tama na." Narinig kong sabi ni Cassy.

Kunot noong liningon ko si Cassy.

"Why should I Cassy? Bakit hindi mo sabihin kay Cams? Why would you take all the blame? Na yung totoo eh ikaw yung..."
