Emily

"So Rodger is her dad?", I asked Tommy as I cooked. We're at Terrence's house for a barbecue.

"Yes."

"What ever happened to him being gay?"

"He goes both ways. I'm the only girl he been with that I know of."

"Oh, so everybody's cool now right?"

"Yeah we just aren't together anymore."

"That's good. Did they fight?"

"Girl you know they did. Terrence won.". That's not a surprise.

"Jade we gotta talk."

"Okay.". We went to my car. "Bitch what's up?".

"I'm moving back."

"What!?"

Terrence

"I can't tell her.", Nathan said as I put food on the grill.

"You got to. If she find out from them she gone be even more pissed."

"She gone beat my ass either way."

"Shit, I know.", I said shrugging my shoulders. Emily came over with the rest of the meat.

"Terrence I gotta talk to you.". Nathan walked away. "So, I need you to keep the kids for about a month or two."

"Okay. What's going on?"

"I'm moving back."

"For real?", I asked looking at her smiling.

"Yes.", she said smiling back.

"Swear to God?"

"Swear to God."

"Ight, ight, ight.", I said shaking my head and smiling. She laughed. That smile.

"I'll get everything together for them so you won't have to."

"I got it."

"No, I got it."

"Emily I got it.". She started pouting. "Fine.". She smiled and kissed my cheek before walking away. I looked at her walk away. If I didn't know her I would think her ass was fake but it's hers, all of it.

"I know it's big but damn.", she said looking at me.

"Huh?"

"'Huh?'.", she said laughing.

"I'm down.", Emily said raising her hand. Most of the adults are going out I guess she is too.

"Me too.". The only nigga she twerking on is me.

"We know.", mostly everybody said. Everybody started laughing.

I got ready then took the kids to Terrence's house. "Nathan make sure you watch them.". They got Tommy, and two of their cousins babysitting. I know Tommy but not the other two so I need Nathan to watch over Jayda and Jayden. Everybody taking 2 cars. 4 in each car. I got Terrence, Jade and Ricky. I didn't want nobody I didn't know in my car.

"Okay."

"I got you tomorrow."

"Okay.". We all went into the house.

"So, who the DD?", I asked.

"Me.", Terrence said.

"Ight."

"Pass my the aux cord.", Ricky said. I hooked it up and gave it to him. We drove off bumping trap music.
