August 6
Mackenzie's POV
I looked all around at the thousands of people in the arena. Even though they were strangers, they were my friends, my family, my beautiful fandom.
During the past months, every show had been incredible and they were all as equally loud and passionate.
I was upset that it had come to an end tonight. I was going to miss performing for the people who I loved. I was going to miss seeing the thousands of people who loved me and my music.
I looked at each face in the crowd that I could see, taking in everything for this last show of the tour.
They all cheered, the last song to the tour about to start, but I had to say something first.
"I, um," I was starting to tear up, the tears already building up in my eyes, ready to escape. The crowd cheered as I tried to find the right words to say.
"This tour has been amazing.."
I walked around the stage, wanting to see all my families beautiful faces, smiling as they screamed from me getting close to them. I giggled and bent down and reached out my hand to touch theirs and they grinned from ear to ear just like I did.
"I love you." I mouthed to them and they squealed with happiness before I stood up and continued to walk around.
"You guys have been absolutely amazing, seriously." They continued to cheer and all I felt was love for them.
"I honestly couldn't do this without you and I.. I love you guys to much." I began to cry.
"You guys are my family." I cried, the tears spilling down my cheeks. "You all mean so much for me and I can't thank you enough for all you've given me."
"You've made my dream come to life. A little girl who's past hasn't been the greatest and who had this huge passion for music. You've all made it come true."
"You also gave me the light of my life." I grinned, knowing he was in the crowd with all my other friends.
"You've introduced me to a whole new life and I have had many memories during this tour. All those memories include you guys."
"This speech is really long, I'm sorry." I laughed but they cheered, letting me know that it was okay.
I wiped my tears off my face and continued to peek at the faces in the Staple Center, my last tour date. I was going to miss it.
"Thank you guys for bringing this tour to life." I began to wrap the speech up. "I've had a blast and I hope you all have too. I can't wait until I start a new one and make another album."
They cheered, liking the idea and my heart was bursting with love with this room. I loved them so much.
"Thank you, I love you." The band grabbed their instruments after having a small water break during my speech, ready to play the final song of the tour.
"This is A Thousand Years."
The crowd erupted with cheers and whistles and the song began to play for the final time in this tour.
I sang through the mic and looked at the crowd as white lights illuminated the room, waving right and left along with the song.
I got off the stage and the crowd screamed as I walked through the crowd, giving hugs to as many fans as I could while still singing the song.
The fans either started to cry, freak out, and say I love you to me and I reciprocated their words, letting them know how much I loved them.
By the time the song finished, I was back on stage and waving for the last time. "Thank you! This has been an incredible journey with all of you!!!! I love you, good night!"
