Prologue

Ever since I was born I knew I was a pure blood vampire.

Knowing I am a vampire really scares me.

I want to live a normal life, a normal teenage life.

I was only two years old noong pinilit ko ang aking mga magulang na lumipat sa lugar kung saan naninirahan ang mga tao. It was hard to convince them but I manage to get what I wanted.

Ever since I learned about their world, I was tempted. I felt like I was born to live my life there.

Living my 13 years in the human world, I started to forget how to be a vampire, that I'm a vampire.

I read from my grandmother's old book when I was 2, when a vampire starts living in the human world without drinking any fresh blood from humans will conceal the vampire's blood flowing on their veins but will soon be awaken when the clock struck 3 in the midnight (also known as devils hour) of his/her 16th birthday.

I knew, me having a normal life in the human world has an end to it.

I felt it...

When my 16th birthday is about to come...

My fang showing without my notice.

My eyes that suddenly turns red.

My heart that goes wild when I see necks that's calling me to have a taste of it.

And my lust for blood.

It is reminding me. Reminding me that the time has come and I will become a pure vampire again.

That the dark is my light.

And Blood is my life.
