Chapter 16

Aeron's POV

"What happened to you, Aeron?" sabi ni Dad ng makita niya akong nakasimangot. Kakauwi lang namin galing orphanage.

"Don't ask." sabi ko at diretso lang sa paghilata sa sofa.

"He didn't got to asked the name of the girl we both like." paliwanag ni James.

"Shut up ugly!" sigaw ko kay James.

"If I'm ugly that means that you are too. We're identical." ngumisi siya.

"Ifucking hate you right now." sabi ko at ipinikit ang aking mga mata.

"Where did you met this girl?" tanong ni dad.

"We saw her playing with the kids in the orphanage. She's gorgeous dad. And I'll make her my wife when the right time comes." Bigla akong tumayo at tumingin kay James ng masama.

"Dream on. She'll be my wife!" sabi ko pero parang hindi nila ako narinig.

"Look." iniharap ni James ang phone ko kay dad.

"What the- how did you get my phone?!" sigaw ko.

Napatingin ako kay dad ng bigla siyang tumawa.

"Fighting over a girl. It's not like the both of you. Intresting." sabi ni dad. "But I think I know who's she."

"You what!?" sigaw naming dalawa ni James. Nag nod ng ilang beses si dad.

"Since you both like her, how about I fix you in an arrange marriage. But she'll end up whom she fall for."

"Sounds fair to me." sabi ni James.

"I'll make her fall for me." I said and grabbed my phone on James's hand and went upstairs.

After a week, binigay sa amin ni dad ang envelope containing the info's about dun sa babae na nakita namin sa orphanage. Nagulat na lang ako ng makita ang mga picture niya.

"What the fuck!? She's not anything like her. She's ugly and look, she's a nerd!" sigaw ko.

"Dad, don't tell us you arranged us to this ugly nerd?" tanong ni James.

"I did." ngumisi siya. "And she will be studying in your school too. Be nice to her." ngumiti si Dad at iniwan kami ni James na hindi makapaniwala.

"Since you want to get married so badly, she's all yours." ibinato sa akin ni James yung envelope na hawak niya.

"Hell no! I won't marry her." sabi ko at ibinato pabalik sa kanya yung envelope. Why do we have to be in this kind of situation?

That is how everything all started. At yan din ang dahilan kung bakit namin binubully ni James si Jaycee. We don't meant to hurt her, but we want her to hate us so that she'll be the one who'll be backing off from this fixed marriage.

But many things happened. And our perspective have changed.

And more importantly, I didn't really meant what I've said to her earlier. I hope she forgives me.

Jaycee's POV

Umakyat na ako sa napakataas na hagdan. Lumiko ako sa kanan tulad ng sabi ni Aunt Tricia. Pumasok ako sa may ikatlong kwarto. Muling namangha na naman ako ng makita ko ang loob. Ang laki ng kwarto at ang ganda pa. What could I expect? Sobrang yaman nila. Sinarado ko ang pinto at naglakad papalayo dun. Narinig kong biglang ng click yung pinto pero hindi ko na lang pinansin.
