Ivy and Harley strolled down to the park, talking every once in a while, but not as often as they usually did. Still, it was a very nice day, and it was nice to get some fresh air. After a while though, it did get rather boring. At one point, Harley became overcome with total boredom. She had to start a conversation. It didn't matter what, she just had to talk.

"So, do you have a workout mix? You do know a lot of songs," Harley started the conversation.

"I usually just listen to the Little Shop of Horrors soundtrack, why?" Ivy asked in response.

"Just one album? That's so boring! I know that's your favorite musical and all, but yeesh! add some variety!"

"Well, I guess that I could add Shine a Light from Heathers onto there."

"Yeah, and My Shot from that one musical about the founding fathers."

"Maybe Lovely Night from La La Land?"

"Ooh, and Because We Can from Moulin Rouge!"

"Moulin Rouge? Huh, I haven't listened to the soundtrack from that in a couple of years."

"Really? We should watch the movie sometime!"

"You mean with Ewan McGregor?"

"Well, what other Moulin Rouge movie would I be talking about?"

"True, true. I guess that movie didn't strike me as something you would like. I thought you would watch hardcore action movies in your free time."

"I do prefer action movies over musicals, but Moulin Rouge has always been a bit of a guilty pleasure for me."

"Okay, then it's a date! I mean, it's a movie night!" Ivy corrected herself. Harley raised her eyebrow and smirked. The lady in green wasn't doing a very good job with hiding her crush on the other. Harley hoped that this wouldn't become a regular thing. A movie night did sound fun, though. She was down.

The two continued to travel down the sidewalk. A couple of concerned mothers turned their kids around and pushed them in the opposite direction. Birds and squirrels scurried away from the two ladies. After all, they were well-known villains. Both of them were used to this reaction by this point, and they saw it as an opportunity to have the entire park to themselves. They both found an empty park bench and sat down. Harley grabbed a couple of bread crumbs from her pocket and threw them on the ground, feeding the nearby pigeons. Even the birds were a little hesitant to come near them. Still, free food was hard to pass up, not matter what species you were. Ivy pulled out her phone and began creating a workout mix, including songs from some of her favorite musicals and bands. Harley was right, she really should've done this sooner. Eventually, the two decided to leave. They headed home, laughing and talking along the way.

.....

Bruce woke earlier than usual that morning. The reason why happened to be the fire alarm. He practically fell out of bed in shock, because it hadn't gone off in years. The last time it had, it was because Two-Face had set fire to his house. Just to be safe, Bruce put on his Batman attire and prepared to 'face off' with the villain. When he reached downstairs, it sounded like the alarms were coming from the kitchen. Batman ran to the kitchen, smoke filling every corner of the room. The caped crusader grabbed the nearest fire extinguisher, spraying it on the room. When he smoke finally cleared, Batman expected to see some villain who had a thwarted look on his/her face, with a flamethrower in his/her hand. Instead, Batman found a villain who had a thwarted look on his face, with a frying pan is his hand. Batman shook his head to make sure that he wasn't imagining things.

"Joker, what happened in here?" Batman asked the bad guy with the frying pan.

"I was going to make you breakfast, but I think the temperature was set too high for the bacon," Joker responded, still holding the burnt remnants of the bacon.

"Have you ever tried to make breakfast before?" Batman continued to ask.

"Well, I did a few years ago. Nowadays, Egghead just makes the breakfast for everyone."

"I can see why."

"The cereal made it out alive, and I think the pancakes are a little salvageable."

"I'll just order a pizza or something."

"Actually, I know this great café that we could stop by for brunch."

"Brunch? What are you, 30?"

"I'm 80."

"Oh yeah, I forgot."

"Don't worry, I sometimes lose track of the years as well. So what do you say, brunch?"

"Sure, I don't have anything else to do."

Joker grinned and started to run back to the guest room to get dressed. Before he could, Batman grabbed his arm and informed him that he had quite a few tuxedos of his own. Joker's eyes lit up at the suggestion. This was such a grand place that he assumed that the suit collection must've grand as well. Luckily, his expectations were met. The number of suits there was more than Joker had ever seen. There were probably more suits and tuxedos there than a wedding clothing store. If the two ever got married, than they wouldn't even need to go to buy anything. Joker shook his head at the thought, his face unknowingly becoming red. Batman didn't seem to notice, and if he did, than he didn't care. That, or he thought it was cute.

"So, are you going to choose a suit, or should I?" Batman asked.

"Well, all of the options are good. Do you mind if I try some on?" Joker offered.

"Of course. I'm pretty sure that we have a dressing room here somewhere."

"Well, I know where the bathroom is."

"That's all the way upstairs, though. Just use the dressing room. If I remember, then it's somewhere down the hallway over there." Batman pointed to the hallway a little way to the left.

"Great! Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to grab some of these," Joker replied, staring at the suits and rubbing his hands with anticipation.

Author's Note:

Okay, so as well as writing, I also really like to draw (I'm not amazing by any means, but it's fun.) So, if there happened to be a scene from Don't Believe Everything You Read On The Internet that you want me to attempt to draw, just let me know! I will post any of the requests publicly in a chapter format. So go ahead and request scenes!
