Forgive Us
Dante Hanson

I sat next to the sleeping body of the devils brother, or rather the devil was Major Skeleton. Ryder was simply a mindless pawn in the Major's little game. They took him, after days, after I met Jayce I thought maybe my regret would be gone but no.

What will they do to Rielly now that I escaped?

Kill him? Torture? or will they simply help him, he was shot after all. I doubt they'd just heal his wound and let him back into the system, no Major Skeleton isn't that forgiving, or that stupid...

Or, worst of all will he be apart of the Major's game too, could the Major try and turn Rielly against me? No, he couldn't break Rielly. Not anytime soon anyway, I needed to get back to Fort Black.

I still can't make sense of that girl Ryder was with, what was her name Melissa? no wait Maya. She is the Majors daughter that much was clear, and she was bitten. She is also skilled with guns, so I've heard.

I still haven't told Jayce any of this, maybe I will before we head into Bellbrook tomorrow morning, or maybe I won't. We'd meet James outside Fort Black
tomorrow, and we attack soon after.

Shit.

I haven't even told Jayce about James, Ok, I'll do it in the morning. I wonder if Betty and Beatrice were still alive would they want me to help Jayce? would they want me to save Rielly? or would they want me to leave them all behind.

...

Jayce Slade

Dante and I were making it closer and closer to Bellbrook, I've only been here once. I was young and I had dance lessons in this small town, god, was that a experience I'm glad I never actually continued past like, three lessons. How badly I wished my parents brought me to some kind of Surivial lesson instead, is Boy Scouts a surivial lesson? Doesn't matter, anything is better then dance.

My parents tried to keep us out of the City growing up, I don't think it was because they didn't like it but they wanted us to grow up in the rural areas. I noticed the forest was  becoming less and less dense, Every step Dante and I made was another out of the forest and into the small town of Bellbrook.

Last Night, Dante and I spotted a series of Flares being fired off from Bellbrook. The flares stopped last night, whoever it was shot five or six. But then they stopped, either they ran out, they're saving them for later use or...I don't want to think about option number three.

"I need to tell you something" Dante said as we walked side by side in the forest.

"What?" I asked.

"I didn't escape alone, my friend Rielly is inside Fort Black, but the head mechanic at Fort Black rigged the alarms that helps us escape. His name is James, if he's still alive he'll be waiting for us near Fort Black."

I thought this over, it makes sense that the two didn't plan it alone. But why did they separate?

"Why did you and James split up?" I asked. "Was it on purpose?"

Dante nodded his head and said "Yeah, James wanted to keep a eye on Fort Black, make sure they haven't killed Rielly. I went to find more weapons" he looks over at me and gave me a slight nod "and people willing to help"

The two of us walked out of the woods and into a dirt path leading into the old limestone walls surrounds the old town of Bell Brook. The town was built years before Central City, however it never grew as popular as Central City because the City was closer to the lake.

The two of us walked towards the town, Dante turned to the left and searched an abandoned red truck. There was nothing in the back, but Dante smashed the window open with his elbow and unlocked the truck.
