Chapter Nine

Act II: The Tank
Wow you actually read until Act II, or your just skipping to this point. Either ways thanks for all the support for Act I and hopefully we get even more support as the series can only improve with the amount of new characters and story events to come in Act II
Act II is based off of Season 2 of The Risen Minecraft Roleplay, however we do add, get rid of and move events around in the story...not to mention Characters are much different then in the webseries! Thanks for reading!

Moving Forward

One day after the events of Fort Black, Ryder, Maya, Rielly, Dante, James and I are held up in James camp in the caynon​ near Fort Black.

Maya and James left about a hour ago to spy on Fort Black and see if the Major surived the fall.

"We should leave." Dante said.

The four of us (Ryder, Rielly, Dante and I) sat around the fire, Ryder and Rielly were asleep, still recovering from their injurys.

"I agree" I said looking around the cave. "This place stinks" I smiled
Dante was holding Betty his tomahawk again.

I heard the sounds of the rock that was acting as our door open, Maya and James must have been returning.
I turned my head towards the entrance as I heard the sound of Dante pulling out his pistol, the safety was still on, but you never know who could be walking into this cave.

"Hey everyone" James said walking in.

I heard Maya closing the entrance behind her, and walking in as well.
The two sat down around the fire with Dante and I.

"Well?" Dante Asked.

"Good news, you know that herd we saw going through yesterday?"

I chuckled.

"We're calling them herds?"

Dante nodded and replied.
"We could call them a flock but there not birds."

"Ok, sorry Maya continue?" I said.

"Right, so anyways it appears that Faraway has taken command, they must have burned the Majors Body and we just didn't see it. However the herd came right through Fort Black, they mostly defended it but it looks like the dead pricks got into the Bunker, that's all I saw."

Ryder was awake now, and he looked at Maya concernly.

I'm not stupid, the two have something between them, which is fine, Maya's a good girl. Mom and Dad would approve, even though her father is crazy.

I guess we all are now a days...

Two Days Later

We left the stupid cave a few hours ago. We would've left sooner but Maya wanted to give Ryder and Rielly a few more days to heal before we head out.

And it's strange, of all the cars we've passed we haven't found a single working one.

Maya explained that this was because Major Skeleton sent out groups of people to collect fuel from all the nearby cars. Once we get further out from Fort Black we should be able to find a working vehicle.

The road we are walking on was more gravel and dirt then pavement, and although the Forest was nice to look at around us, you never know what could be lurking in the darkness.

Dante and I led the group through the Forest, with James and Maya taking up the rear.
We figured (although Ryder and Rielly can handle themselves) that it was best to protect the injured.

"What do you hope to find? You know out here?" I whispered to Dante, enough so the others could hear me, but hopefully nothing else.

"Well, I dunno a prison would be great, the fences would keep the pricks out. A walled off community, the problem is a lot of the best places probably already have groups in it. Like Fort Black, and also like Fort Black most of the groups are probably run by people like Major Skeleton." Dante whispered back.
