I walked towards Ace, who was loading the truck for the run.

I approached the truck, and saw that the truck was mainly empty, other then a few extra guns.

Ace was speaking with Jerry, I turned around and spoke up.

"We ready to leave yet?"

Ace turned around to face me, he saw that I had a fully packed bag and was holding my crossbow.

"You got everything?" He asked.

"Yeah, I got weapons, matches, extra food and water, a map, a few extra ammo clips for my pistol and rifle, plus half a dozen arrows for my crossbow, and a extra hunting knife, I also packed extra socks" I smlied.

"Good, I was about to say, I hate wet socks!" Ace said walking towards the driving side of the truck

I walked around the front and opened the door to the right side (the passenger seat) and hopped in.

The truck was one of those huge transport trucks used to bring boxed food and for moving furniture and stuff around. We were in a Doritos truck, while Damon and Shane we're taking a moving van as it was larger.

"When is Damon and Shane leaving?" I asked sitting in my seat, Ace started the van and answered.

"They already did, we're running late, let's get out of here!" Ace said pulling out of the parking lot and driving towards the south gate, Charity (who was on gate patrol) opened the gate and let us through. She waved goodbye as we drove away from the church.

...

After several hours of driving we made it to our Target, it was a large plaza in the outside parts of Central City.

Ace parked the truck in a empty parking spot and stopped the engine, he opened his door and we walked around back to get our guns.

I opened the back door and we spoke.

"So we'll start with the gas stations store first, then we'll move on to the subway next door, and so on" Ace said.

"Yeah, we'll dump everything off store after store, we'll take it slow, and together!" I added.

"Yup!" He agreed as the huge back door opened.

Standing inside the truck was Maya, she had a rlife swung around her back, and gave us a look of annoyance as she jumped out of the truck.

"I thought you would never open the back of the truck!" She shouted sticking a piece of bubble gum in her mouth.

"Not that I care, I mean, its your life. But didn't Kiera and Ace tell you not to come?" I asked.

"Yeah, but I felt like coming, besides you guys kinda need me!" She said blowing a big bubble.

"Maya, your pregnant. And trust me, I can live with losing a guy out here, but a baby? I may seem dumb, but I know that that's a big no no!" Ace said as if a order for her to stay.

"Ugh! If you two are scared then I can do this by myself" She spoke grabbing her rifle and loading a fresh magazine into the side.

"Nonsense! Of course we'll help! But maybe you should stay here? And keep watch? I agree with Ace on this one you shouldn't risk the baby!" I spoke.

She lowered her rifle and looked upset.

"Ever since I told Jerry that I was pregnant, all that any of you see me as now is the 'pregnant women' Jesus! Its my baby, and it might already be dead! Who knows!? So, either come with me, or move out of my way!" She demanded pushing past us and walking towards the convienet store.
