Chapter Twenty Six

A Dark Future!

"Where is he?" I asked two men who were around a campfire. I've been tracking Major Skeleton for days, it's felt like months since I've started searching for the man who took James.

"I don't know who your talking about! Please don't hurt us!" The man pleaded.

I had my crossbow to his skull, the other man had his hands in the air, they both knew I meant business, yet neither would give up where Major Skeleton was.

"I'm sick of your bullshit! tell me where Major Skeleton is!" I yelled.

The man with the crossbow in his face looked over to the other man, the other man just shrugged his shoulders.

"We don't know who that is!" He started. "Just don't kill us!" He pleaded.

I rolled my eyes and pulled the trigger, killing the man, within a second I reloaded my crossbow and pointed it in the direction where the other man was standing, but he already started running away from the camp.

"Ugh!" I complained.

I swung my crossbow onto my back and held out Betty the axe, I chased the man threw the woods, I was gaining on him now.

He nearly tripped over a tree that, when I reached it I jumped over. 

"Please Sir, don't kill me!" He called back.

This just made me angrier, I always hated the animals that yelled and ran back when Rielly and I went hunting. I ran faster until I eventually caught up to him and tackled him to the ground.

I grabbed him by the shirt and stood up.

"Where is Major Skeleton!" I yelled into his face.

He was crying, I swear he was pissing himself.

"Please, please don't kill me!" He pleaded.

I rolled my eyes and slapped him hard across the face.

"Get it together man, tell me where he is!" I yelled.

He wiped away his tears and answered in a strained and broken voice.

"I didn't hear about a Major, but there is a group staying by the bottom of the waterfall!" He answered.

I smiled, and I stabbed the man in the chest, killing him.
I then walked away, towards the waterfall.

I sat on top of a tree, eating an apple that I picked from a tree along my way here, I watched the water as it flowed into the pond below. In the clearing around the waterfall was a small camp.

There were serveral tents and two campfires. I watched as Major Skeleton walked out of his tent, only he had a man with with bag on his head.
I looked over to a campfire, there were three armed men surrounding it, and there was another man with hand cuffs around his wrists sitting next to it. That man was Ryder.

I finished my apple, and threw the core to the ground. I lept down from my tree and held out my crossbow, I made sure that both my handgun and long knife were at the ready.

This was my moment to kill Major Skeleton.

I was dizzy, I had multiple broken bones, and the worst of all, the guard in front of me was eating pumpkin pie.
Now I was hungry.

Major Skeleton walked over to the campfire I was cuffed near, he was pracitally dragging a man with a bag over his head to me.
He placed the man on his knees and removed the bag.
