Chapter Eleven

The Bandits

"YOU BASTARD!" Dante screamed. He tried yet again to stand up but the bandits just held him down.

"You called this apon yourself! Had you kept quiet and let us take what we wanted we wouldn't have killed your friend, I told you nobody had to get hurt Dante!"

Dante just sat on his knees, arms held behind him by two bandits, the head bandit telling him off.

I saw Dante's death face stare at the ground.

He was ready to kill them all.

The other bandits (that didn't have us to gun point) we're packing all our stuff into a blue truck that they drove into our camp.

I heard the sound of James crying next to Riellys dead corpse.

The Head Bandit began to laugh as Dante just sat there and tried to ignore everything that the Head Bandit was telling him.

"You killed you friend Dante, that was you!" The head bandit yelled laughing.

He grabbed Rielly's corpse and dragged it over in front of Dante.

"Look at what you did!" The head bandit said holding Rielly's shirt collar.

Dante looked away from the ground and instead looked up to the head bandits eyes.

"I will kill you!" Dante said slowly and calmly.

The Head bandit laughed and spoke raising his pistol and pushing it agasint Dante's skull.

"Not if we kill you first!"

The head bandits guns safety clicked off, the Head Bandit was about to pull the trigger when a voice interrupted him.

"Wait! Just let them go!" Max yelled, still standing in front of me.

The Head Bandit stood up and turned to face Max.

"You took a liking to these county folk Max? Your mission was to bring us to a group that we could steal from! You did a good job, so let it go!" The Head Bandit started.

"But maybe we should just kill them all just to be safe, I mean these guys had alot of guns, and this Dante fellow here is enough to say that these folks are trouble!" The head Bandit turned back to Dante.

"Well, you got one thing right!" Ryder spoke up.

I turned to Ryder, and tried to tell him without words to shut up.

But it was to late.

The Head Bandit walked over to Ryder.

"Oh really? What's that?" He asked.
Ryder looked at him in the eyes and answered.

"We are trouble!"

The head bandit smlied, shook his head and looked up and down the line of people he had on there knees.
I could tell by his eyes that he was thinking on who to kill next.

His eyes stopped on Maya.

"Max? What's this lovely women's name?" The head bandit asked, getting down on one knee and caressing Maya's face with his fingers.

"Maya." Max answered.

"My-ya" the Head Bandit spoke, then he stood up and shouted.

"We keep her alive, she will be my bride!" The bandit stood up and walked away from us.

Ryder's eyes filled with fire. While Maya just rolled her eyes.

Ryder was ready to kill them too.

Dante called out to the Head Bandit, like a idiot.

"Where you going jackass, thought you were gonna kill me. Or are you to scared?"

The Head Bandit turned around, and tilted his head in response to Dante. He smlied while walking over next to Dante and Rielly's dead corpse.

"Not sure what your thinking you can do to me, but I assure you, your dead!" He said.

I wasn't sure what Dante's plan was either, but then I saw it.

Riellys finger twitched. He was turning.

Rielly jumped up and bit deep into the Head Bandits left ankle.

"What the fuck!" He screamed as he kicked Rielly away from him.

Dante jumped up and took down the Head Bandit.

The other bandits stood in shock.
The rest of us managed to take there guns and make a escape behind a truck.

I hid behind the truck with Maya sitting next to me.

Ryder and James were also behind here with me, hiding.

Bang

I peeked my head over the side of the truck and saw the Head Bandit shoot Riellys corpse through the head.
"Fuck! I'm bit!" He yelled. Then he turned to Dante.

"This is all your fucking fault you prick!"

Two bandits had Dante on the ground again, this time on his back.

The Head Bandit raised his gun "we kill pricks!"

Bang!

Dante flinched when he realized that he didn't die.

I watched and smoke raised from Max's gun, and the Head Bandit fell to the ground.

Dead.

"That's right, we do!" Max spoke.
Thats when all hell broke lose.

Dante and Max ran over to us as the bandits opened fire.

It was a full out fire fight, Maya and Ryder both managed to kill one before we ran out of ammo.

"Shit! I'm out too!" I said.

I ducked back down behind the truck with the others.

"Now what?" Ryder yelled over the incoming gunfire.

I was wasn't sure how to answer, in fact none of us were, including Dante who hasn't moved since he made it to the truck, the shock must be setting in for him.

Max spoke up.

"We improvise!" Max grabbed a roll of duct tape, some nearby twigs on the ground and duct taped them together. He then placed a rubber band on the stick and started grabbing large pebbles in the gravel.

He was making a slingshot.

The rest of us swong into action making whatever weapon we could out of whatever we had.

Then the gunfire stopped.

"What? What happened to the gunfire" I asked standing up.

Ryder stood up beside me.

"Yo! You guys dead?" Ryder yelled.
We walked out from behind the truck, and saw all of the bandits bodies taken down by headshots.

James stopped and picked up a rifle bullet from the grass, it was soaked in blood. This bullet just killed one of the bandits.

"Who was this?" He asked.

That's when four metal continers came flying over the trees into the clearing around us.

Each of the continers had gas coming out if them.

"Shit! It's Gas!" Ryder yelled.

We all tried to make a run for it, but we were in the center of the clearing, and I tripped and fell into the soft grass of the ground.

I heard the sounds of coughing and bodies hitting the ground as my eyelids shut, sending me into a world of darkness.
