Prisoners
JayceIt was time, Dante and I have been travelling for the past couple of days, we dragged Noah all the way here. It's funny to think that last time the two of us stood up here was right before we broke in to find Ryder, we were with James back then.
In the distance, standing ontop of the ice was Fort Skeleton, clearly it was rebuilt into something much more deadly.
It had huge spotlights searching the ice, I saw mutiple mounted turrets along it's walls."Wow" I spoke.
Dante without saying another word picked up Noah and began leading him down the cliff. As we reached the ice I spoke.
"Dante, maybe it's best if you let me do the talking"
Dante nodded.
"I thought that's why I brought you" He smirked.
The spotlights from Fort Skeleton landed on us, I raised my hands, and looked over to Dante, I expected him to do the same but he didn't, he just stared up and I heard a man with a megaphone speak to us.
"Who the hell are you?" The man asked.
I cupped my hands around my mouth and yelled up to them.
"We have Noah, we want to speak with Commander Frost!" I yelled up, figured I should open with the truth.
"Hey, I just thought about this, what if they open fire?" Dante asked.
I glanced over to him in shock, oh shit. I didn't consider that. I shurgged.
"Use Noah as a shield?" I spoke.
Noah made a quick jump, which made Dante tighten his grip.
"Relax Noah, they won't open fire" I side turning back to Fort Skeleton. As I heard Dante whisper to Noah.
"If they do fire at us, your my meat shield"
I glanced over to see Noah looking like he might shit himself.
"Jesus Dante would you stop it?" I asked.
Dante shrugged and smirked.
"Okay, fine"
That's when a older man walked over to the edge, and grabbed the megaphone.
"What do you want?" The man asked.
"I want to speak with Commander-" I started but was interupted by the man.
"I am Commander Frost, who are you?" The man asked.
"My name is Jayce, this is my friend Dante. He lived here during the time of Major Skeleton, and we came to ask for your help"
The man disspeared and after about a minute a door opened on ice level and six men walked out all armed with machine guns.
Dante held Noah closer to him, but didn't raise a weapon.
My hands were still in the air.
The older man who I spoke to earlier walked out behind the Soilders, he had short hair, a white go-tee and wore a winter camo baseball cap along with a brown leather jacket, underneath I spotted a bullet proof vest, he also wore heavily plated pants and large black boots.
"Alright Jayce, Dante, please tell me why you need my help?" Commander Frost asked.
I took a step towards Frost but nearly slipped on the ice, his men reaimed there weapons on me due to my sudden movement.
"Sir, there could be snipers" one Soilder warned Frost.
"Commander, I can assure you that there isn't any danger to your life, we are here to discuss two things, one is a exchanged between prisoners, you have two of our people Damon and Shane. We have Noah" I started.
