Night, night, calming air
Make sure to dress up warm
And stay away from danger
Come inside if there's a storm
Night, night, starlight
Shining on the ground
Be careful of the shadows
Who knows what's lurking 'round?
Night, night, dark and deep
Drown in its despair
It fools you with its twinkling stars
But child, my child, beware
The night, the night, is treacherous
It gets into your head
And stirs up nightmares, dark and deep
When you're safely in your bed
Night, night, moonlight
Poison to my eyes
Never will it take a rest
'Till every one of us dies
