Running further, running faster,
Flee from fear and pain
Flee from mistakes that are yet to be made
Pointlessly flee disaster.
Tears my mistress, Love my master,
None are ever crueler
Impossible choices, the thought's constant ruler;
All shall herald disaster.
Life by cold amused spellcaster,
Death by pitying muse
Between lies terror, a dark, ugly bruise
A constant scream of disaster.
Shadows and fear, this freak show's ringmaster,
I wish I could know what was truth
Uncertainty poisons the mind from inside;
I'm just scared of another disaster.
I'm sorry.
