Society may hate you,
But society hates a lot of us.
Our scars show the battles we've fought
To prove to ourselves that
We aren't
Simple objects
To be laughed at and discarded.
We've fought with ourselves
Countless times,
Dancing on the knife edge
Between life and death.
Our scars prove our strength.
The fact that we're still here
Proves that we can survive.
We have survived, and
We will survive again.
You aren't alone here.
