It's hard,
Losing something
And knowing that you'll never get it back
It's hard,
Feeling like it's your fault
Even when you know it couldn't have been
It's hard,
Suddenly not having something
That's been with you for such a long time
It's hard,
Keeping in tears and acting all right
Because no one actually cares what you're feeling
And it's hard
When people don't seem to understand
That 'pet' is another word for 'friend'.

Hey guys, sorry about the crappy poem, my snake just died. I know it's different than when a cat or dog dies, and most people don't even like snakes, but he was really special to me.
