*Flashback- Mystic Falls, Lockwood Mansion- 8 months ago- Evening*

"Tyler seriously, I thought, we were friends; yet you are, avoiding, my phone calls." Caroline says into the phone, as she walks over, to the Lockwood Mansion's front door. She opens it, to see a handsome man, with a cut stubble, bright blue eyes and light blond hair. In one word, "He is handsome." "Hey, can I, help you?" Caroline asks, as she continues, to eye him. The man smirks, like he knows, he's handsome and is happy, to be, getting all this attention. "I'm looking, for Tyler Lockwood, you don't suppose, you've seen him, have you, love?"

Caroline shakes her head, "No, idea. He won't, answer my calls. Oh god, I'm being rude, I'm Caroline." She holds out her hand and the man, lightly kisses it, "Call me, Klaus, love." Caroline shivers, Klaus the hybrid. "Youre, the hybrid, aren't you?" She asks not afraid, of him, at all, he nods and smiles at her, "The Original Hybrid."

*End of Flashback*

*The Mikaelson Mansion- Klaus's Art Studio- Afternoon*

Klaus and Caroline walk in and she takes a sip, out of her glass of bourbon. She sees sketches, of drawings and paintings, scattered around, everywhere, on his desk and on the floor. She walks over to the desk and he stands, in the doorway and watches her, as she looks over, his work and comments to one of the paintings, "Hate that... She continues looking, at two more paintings and says, "Too much, I don't get that... Klaus walks in the room, further and opens his mouth, to say something, as she continues and looks at one of his sketches and says, "I don't care... She looks at one of the paintings, on the desk and says with a smile, to him, "This one, it doesn't make me, want to puke." He smiles, and she turns to him and asks curious, "Why, did you, paint it?" He responds and admits to her with a smile, "Painting is a metaphor, for control... He takes a step forward and continues, "Every choice is mine. The canvas, the color. As a child, I had neither, a sense of the world, nor my place, in it... She looks at him sad, as he continues and says walking over, to her, closer, "But art taught me, that one's vision, can be achieved, with sure force, of will." He smiles and then, flirts with her and says, "The same truth, with life... He takes a step forward, to her and continues, "Provided, with one's refusal, to standing, in one's way?" He smiles, and she laughs, nods and then, looks down, to the floor, for a second and then, back up, to him and says with a smile and whispers in his ear, "So, this is your thing, Nik?" She walks past him, and he turns to her, as she continues, "Show me, a few, mediocre paintings, whine about your childhood, and I swoon and spill, all of my dirty little secrets?" She takes a sip, of her drink and he smiles and retorts, "I thought, I had many charms, but regardless, I'm enjoying myself, Care." She nods and retorts with a smile, "And, you do, whatever, you enjoy... She takes a step forward to him and says upset, "Up to and including, hunting, my ex-boyfriend, for the next century?" He shakes his head and says sarcastically, "Oh, surely not, the next century... He walks past her and over to, a dresser and grabs a glass and pours himself, a drink and continues with a smile, "Only until, I kill him!" She laughs and then, turns to him and remarks with a smile, "You talk, a big game, but the truth, is you, let him, go. My guess is, if you kill him, Victoria, will hate you, forever." He grabs the glass and turns to her and retorts, "If I simply, killed Tyler, my revenge, would be over, in a moment. Sentencing him, to a lifetime, of paranoia and fear? That's Tyler's true punishment, for what, he did, to you... She looks down sad and he comments walking, over to her and says, "But come, now, you never, really thought, there was a future, for you two, did you?" She responds and admits, "If there was, it's gone, now!" He nods in understanding and then, says with a smile, "You know, if Tyler, even has, half of your resolve? He may, actually, make, it, throughout, the year... She puts her glass, down, on the desk and then, says sternly, "It doesn't, take resolve. It takes allies. A network, of people, willing to, do anything, for you. Including, chasing down, loose ends, to their death... He says nothing, and she continues and remarks, "That's how, Katherine, escaped you, all this time." He smiles, and she takes a sip, of her drink, and he takes a step forward and whispers in her ear, with a smile, "Perhaps, you know, the names, of Katherina's secret, little helpers?" She smiles and says, "Maybe, I know, one or two? Maybe, I'll even, tell you." She finishes her drink and he smiles.
