Chapter 7: It Will All Be Painfully Clear Soon Enough

*The Next Day, in The Morning- The Saltzman Boarding School: For The Young and Gifted- Landon's Bedroom/Rafael's Bedroom*

Landon is laying, under the covers, of his bed, looking up, at the ceiling, lost, in thought, of his memories and flashbacks, of Faye Mikaelson. He's wearing, a grey t-shirt and black briefs on. He speaks and asks sadly, 'Have you, ever had, a memory and you can't tell, if it, actually, happened? Or, if, it was dream, and your head can't, make sense, of it, so, you let it go? You convince yourself, that, it was your imagination...'

*The Town Square*

Faye is sitting, on a bench, in the middle, of the town square and she's thinking, about leaving town. Her hair is flowing, in luxurious curls. She's wearing, a aqua green top, navy-blue jeggings with black stripes, to it and black boots on. She's holding, the crystal, in her hand, that Lizzie gave her and she's contemplating, whether, to use it or not. She does and it glows yellow. She looks over to the bench near her and sees Landon's hologram there and she looks at him, sad. Landon speaks and continues, 'What if you had realized it wasn't a dream at all? It was real. It was all real!' They smile at each other, happy and then she de-actives the crystal, as Lizzie and Josie approach her and she looks surprised and worried by this. Lizzie speaks and says in a cheerful mood, "Good Morning. Reporting, for Portal Duty." She says nothing, as Josie looks down, to the ground, sad and upset. Lizzie continues and admits with a smile, "I brought, back up, with me?" Faye nods and Josie smiles, at her.

*Back at The Saltzman Boarding School: For The Young and Gifted- The Hallway*

'So, you start, the new day, armed, with everything, you never, thought, you ever, needed, to know?' Landon comes down the steps and goes down the hall, ready for class. He's wearing, a grey jacket, a white t-shirt, black jeans and black boots on. 'Burdened with a choice that no one should have to make...' He walks past Vardemus who glares at him, angry. Vardemus is wearing, a grey blazer, a white shirt, red and black plaid bowtie, grey dress pants and black dress shoes on. He's walking, with his cane, in his right hand. Landon runs into Rafael and they walk together and talk as they go to class. Rafael is wearing, a black hoodie, black jeans and black boots on. Landon continues and says sternly, 'And when all eyes are on you, to do, the right thing?' The eye from the Croatoan, is still lurking around, the school, as an activated camera, for the creatures, of Malivore, to spy on them and the eye is planted, on a lamp, on the wall, they just passed, but they didn't, see it.

*Back in The Town Square- An Ambush*

Josie is wearing, a yellow sweater, crop top, a light blue and navy-blue, plaid skirt and yellow sandals on. Her hair is straight and flat-ironed. Lizzie is seated, in the middle, near Faye and Josie. Her hair is flowing, in luxurious curls. She's wearing, a red top, black overalls, with red lines to it and black boots on. She speaks and breaks the awkward silence, "So, this is nice, right?" Nobody, says anything, but nods, in unison, as she continues and retorts with a smile, "Together again." Faye nods, crosses her arms and remarks with a smile, "It's great!" Josie nods and remarks with a smile, too, "It's awesome!" Lizzie sighs and tries to smooth this tension over, "I mean, for the two of you, to not, be talking, to each other, just because, you are competing, for the love, of the same guy? I think, we're, more, evolved, than that as woman!" Faye nods and retorts with a smile, "Absolutely, because I'm with Ric. So..." Josie looks over to her, unfazed, now, but comments confused, "Seriously, again. I mean, what is it, do you, see in my father, anyways?" Lizzie sighs and looks annoyed, now, as Faye nods, looks back to her and reveals with a smile and admits sternly, "I feel safe and loved, in his arms. The same applies to Landon, but the only difference is Alaric is my Family! I've known him, for a long time; since I was 8. And, ever, since, then, I... I have wanted to evolve, our relationship, from Family, to something More? It's real and it's Familiarity, for me." Josie nods and retorts with a smile and says in shock, "Oh." Faye nods and retorts with a smile, "Yea." Lizzie smiles at the fact they're making progress. Josie nods and retorts with a smile, about before, "Absolutely, without, a doubt." Lizzie nods and says relieved now, "Good! Because, personally, I've never been better... She smiles and then continues, "My work paid off. My mind is sharp and all perceivable breakdowns, were a figment, of my imagination... They look over to her, surprised and say nothing, in shock, as she continues and admits done with MG and Sebastian, now, "Fed, by two vampires manipulative vampires, who, will, remain, forever, my enemies!" Josie looks away and sighs sad, but Faye nods and asks curious, with a smile, "So, what's going on, Sebastian?" Josie looks back, to them and nods, curious too, with a smile. Lizzie nods and explains, sadly, but admits with a smile, "Headmaster Downtown Abbey, wants us to enroll him, to keep him, off of the streets. But after, deliberately, letting me, think, that I was going crazy? I will not let that, happen!" She smiles, thrilled. Faye nods, in understanding and says nothing else. Josie looks back, to her and retorts, sadly, "You should forgive MG?" Lizzie shakes her head and retorts sadly, but admits hurt, "Never." They sigh, and look, at her, sad. Josie continues and admits sternly, "He didn't, want, to hurt you." Lizzie nods and admits sad, "Maybe, so. But he hid, things, from me, so, zero the stars!" Josie shakes her head and admits upset, now, "He's not, the only one, keeping secrets!" Faye looks over to her and admits sad, "I didn't, want, to hurt you, either!" Josie looks away, from her, upset and remarks with a smile, done, "Yea, well. Zero stars!" Faye sighs and says nothing else, upset. Lizzie says nothing else, done, trying to fix this. Faye looks back, down, at the crystal, in her hands, sad and Josie notices and asks in shock, now, "Is that, what, I think, it is?" Lizzie looks over to Faye, who nods and admits with a smile, "Yea." Josie nods, with a smile and looks, away again and Lizzie notices sad and says nothing, in shock, as Faye hands her the crystal and says sternly, "Here." Josie looks surprised, and says nothing, in shock as Faye continues and admits done, "I don't, need it, anymore." Josie nods, takes it and retorts with a smile, grateful, "Thanks." Lizzie smiles, happy again and comments glad, "Look at us? Clear hearts and minds. Letting, the Power of Intellect, rule the day, over our Emotions! Moving Forward in Unity, Dignity and by Grace." They nod, annoyed, but smile. She wraps her arms around them and admits with a smile, "This is the true definition of Girl Power... She makes them, lean back into a hug and continues, "I'm proud of us." They say nothing, in shock, but smile.
