Chapter 19: No More Heartbreaks

*Back at Cami's Apartment-Morning*

Cami is laying on the floor still asleep and Lucien is standing at the window looking outside with a smile and holds a mug in his hand and then walks over to the kitchen and makes himself some tea on the stove and Cami wakes up and gasps in pain and looks at the bite on her arm in shock and Lucien sees her awake and comments with a smile, "Ah, Camille finally awake? Perfect!" He smiles and walks over to her and informs her sternly, "You got a big day ahead of you!" She responds and says, "You bit me!" He nods and says, "I sampled a bit of your blood actually, kinda of tasty... She looks at the bite as he continues and remarks, "Although bitter than I expected?" She holds her arm and says in shock and scared, "Oh my god, I'm going to die!" He nods and remarks, "Yeah, apologies, but to be honest your days were numbered the day you caught Nik's eye!" She looks at him sad as he continues, "Those that get close to the bastard, myself excluded... The tea is ready and Lucien comments with a smile and asks, "Ah, care for tea?" He walks over to the kitchen and grabs the pot of the stove and pours himself a drink and she searches in her purse for a dark object and he notices and walks back over to shelf and retorts, "Oh please Cami, have you not learned? If you try to fight me, you will always lose!" She glares at him and throws a star at him and it cuts his face and she flashes out of the apartment and he pulls it out and says irritated, "Enough! If you insist on making things difficult?" He sees her gone and drops the star on the ground and his face heals and he smiles. Cami looks at her wound and rolls her sleeve down and flashes to the Compound.

*Back at The Compound*

Cami walks in and yells urgently, "Klaus! Klaus!" He flashes in and asks sternly, "What is it?" She takes a step forward and says, "Your going to be angry, Lucien wants you to be angry, he's trying to lure you into a trap!" He takes a step forward and asks serious, "What did he do now?" She shakes her head and says, "Promise me you won't fly off the handle and do something crazy? Promise me?!" He grabs her arm and sees the bite and looks shocked and pissed off and she says, "Before you lose it... She cups his face and says, "Klaus look at me?" He does and she continues, "I love you and I won't let you get urself killed... She collapses and he catches her and says, "Cami!" She continues and says, "I just needed you to know." She passes out and he says, "I can tell you that I love you tomorrow... He picks her up and carries her inside and says sternly, "Your not dying today!"

*Klaus's Office-Meeting*

Cami is seating on the couch and watches Freya and Klaus talk from afar and starts getting hallucinations and Caroline walks over to Cami and yells concerned and worried, "Cami! Cami!" Cami breaks out of the trance and looks up at her as Caroline continues and seats on a table in front of her and asks, "Hey, are you alright?" Cami nods and says, "Yea, considering... Caroline nods in understanding and Klaus walks over to them with a jar and cloth in his hand and says to Cami, "Hold still... He sits next to her and warns her, "This is going to burn." He grabs her arm and puts the cloth on her wrist where the bite mark is and she winces in pain and asks, "Ow, Ow what is that?" She looks over at Freya and Freya stands behind a couch across from them and reveals, "It's a healing sylph. Mugwort and White Willow Bark. The recipe is over a thousand yrs old.... Cami remarks, "So the good stuff huh?" Freya continues and admits, "It will ease the pain and dull the symptoms, but it won't stop the infection." Cami responds and says sad, "So I'm screwed?" Caroline leans forward and assures it her, "Were going to do everything that we can Cami... Elijah and Vincent walk in and they look over to them as Elijah comments to Vincent and says, "To the end. With a little assistance?" Vincent looks over at Cami and says guilty, "I'm so sorry Cami." She says nothing and Klaus retorts to him pissed off, "You should be!" Vincent says nothing as he continues, "This is your fault!" He gets up and rushes over to him, "It was you who turned Lucien into the beast!" Elijah puts his hand out and stops him and Cami yells, "Klaus stop, it's not his fault!" He glares at him and Vincent looks over to Caroline as she says, "Cami's rite we all need to work together to fix this!" Klaus turns to her and reveals to them, "K, I think Ik how to fix it? Lucien has always been obsessed with me... He takes a step forward and continues, "He made himself like me, my bite is cured by my blood!" Caroline responds and asks, "Do you think his blood could save her?" Elijah speaks and says, "It makes sense that Lucien would want that kind of power... Klaus nods agreeing with him and says, "Allowing him to lure himself over his victims." Vincent responds and says, "K now we have a testing theory, all we have to do is test it?" Cami responds and reveals to them, "Lucien's blood is all over my apartment. I sliced him with a dark object before I ran!" Vincent nods and says, "K I got this one, Lucien's not going to be on the easy lookout for me!" He leaves. Caroline suggests another theory and reveals to them, "Faye is a Mikaelson witch. She carries the wolf gene. We already know that she has healing powers... Freya nods and says agreeing with her, "It's worth a try." Caroline nods and gets up and says, "I'll tell Mary that I'm coming!" She leaves and Elijah looks over to Klaus whose nods for him to go with her and Elijah nods and leaves.
