*Southern Louisiana Docks-Nighttime*

'Marcel, once asked me what it feels like to be daggered? I told him it was like a deep dreamless sleep...' Rebekah is inside a crate still desiccated... 'But this is no ordinary dagger!' The Navy brings the box inside and lays it on the ground. Rebekah continues and says sadly, 'But this dagger ensures that I feel everything. The aching cold, the suffocating darkness, the burns of my veins crying out for blood and the long agony of waiting!' One of the guys speaks and says to the others, "Rite where he said it be?" The others walks over to the box and the guy says sternly, "Open it?" They undo the chains and lock and opens it as he continues, "This Mr. Elijah Smith, paid good money to have this drench out of the Gulf... Elijah walks in at the doorway holding an umbrella as the guy continues, "Whatever is in it must be a fortunate, I say we renegotiate!" Elijah puts his umbrella down and says with a smile, "I'm afraid that was my final offer!" They turn to him and Elijah flashes over to them and kills them and then walks over to the crate and pulls the stake out and Rebekah gasps and sits up and looks at him shocked and he says with a smile, "Hello, sister!" She smiles and asks, "Tell me, I didn't miss Christmas?" He smiles.

*The Abattoir-Morning*

Cami is seating on a chair and watching a girl let her blood drip into a cup and Cami asks curious, "Do they like pay you?" The girl opens her mouth to say something but Klaus intervenes and says with a smile, "Handsomely and comes with a generous Christmas bonus. Isn't that rite?" She smiles and nods and Klaus takes the cup and she leaves and he sits down across from Cami. Cami smiles and remarks, "So just compel her to nod and agree with whatever you say?" Klaus smiles and retorts, "I compel her to feed me and to hang the Christmas occasional ornament. She can say whatever the hell she wants!" Cami laughs and he comments with a smile, "You seem better?" She nods and says, "Yea, thank you for letting me stay here the past couple of days and giving me space to not talk." She laughs and he smiles at her and then she asks curious, "Why didn't you go with Elijah to help Rebekah? I hope it's not to stay and babysit me?" He responds and says, "It's not a good idea for him and I to spend hours together in confined spaces! Giving that the prophecy foretells one family member going after another?" She leans forward and asks sadly, "You don't think that he would hurt you?" He admits honestly, "Idk what to think!" He leans forward and sits the cup on the table and says frustrated, "Damn fortunate tellers predictions continue to unfold despite all of our best efforts!" She looks at him shocked and then her phone starts buzzing and she takes it from out of her pocket and looks at the message from Vincent, "Kinney's in trouble!" She says sternly, "It's Vincent, I have to go!"

*St. James Infirmary*

Tristan is sitting at the counter and filling out some paperwork and Marcel walks in and sees the papers and complains, "You taking over my bar now? You don't strike me as a jazz fan?" Tristan smiles, "Your a Strix now, what's yours is mine and vice versa. You should be grateful? You'll need my help as I imagine the Mikaelsons still want your head?" He says nothing as he continues and looks at the surroundings and comments with a smile, "This venue is brilliant. A neutral space where magic is useless. It should do nicely at least until our advocate shepherd the Regent of Witches?" Marcel shakes his head and says, "That might take a while? You see the last Regent was shunned and the one before that murdered! No one's really eager to step up!" Tristan smiles and says sternly, "As a member of the Strix, you should know: We do not wait for men to step up... He stands and says, "We step them up!" Marcel nods and says, "K, so we install in ally as Regent? Good plan, if you can find a witch willing to do your bidding?" Tristan nods and reveals, "In fact I have a candidate, young, valuable. His name is Van Nguyen. It seems someone killed his mother? As it is Christmas, and I am despite reputation, a charitable man. I made him an offer and he'll use his powers to do as I ask!" Marcel nods and Tristan smiles and sits back down at the counter and continues the paperwork and Marcel leaves and goes to St. Anne's Church.
