Chapter 6: Step-Mombie Dearest

*Morning, The Saltzman Boarding School: For the Young and Gifted- ,Alaric's Office/The Hallway*

Josette Laughlin has long black hair and black eyes. She's wearing her white wedding dress that she died in and walks through the hallway of the school and Alaric is in his office talking to Victoria bout what's been going on at the school and her recruitment missions to save Josie and Lizzie from doing the Gemini Merge. Alaric draws the box star symbol in a sketchbook that Ampelos drew. He tries to find the symbol in a book of symbols but doesn't and he throws the sketchbook on the desk frustrated. He speaks and says to Victoria sternly, "Ik what your doing is important Vicki, but how am I going to tell the girls that their mom isn't going to be there for their 17th birthday? I mean, I can't exactly tell them what your really involved in?!" Josette is still walking through the halls and over to his office. Alaric continues, "No I am nowhere near cracking this case... Josette turns the doorknob and walks in as he continues to Victoria and informs her sternly, "I have a knife, I have a symbol, I have a place sort of? But I don't even know what it means and I don't know if it's connected? Or what monster is even coming next?!" Josette speaks and interrupts him, "Ric!" He turns to her and looks shocked that she's alive and says to Vicki still surprised, "I got to call you back!" He hangs up. Dorian is speaking with a student outside of Alaric's office in the hallway and he hears Alaric yells his name and he looks surprised and says to the guy, "We'll finish this later!" He goes to class and Dorian barges in and asks confused, "Are you k?" He sees Alaric points his crossbow at Josette and she puts her hands up scared and Dorian comments and says sternly to Alaric, "Woah?!" She responds and says to Alaric scared, "Ric, if you could just put down the crossbow? My freak out level is bout 11 right now!" Dorian says confused and walks past her and over to him and comments still confused, "You know her?!" Alaric nods and reveals, "Ik who she's supposed to be!" Dorian responds and says, "Who?" Alaric responds and says sternly, "The love of my love!"

*A Few Minutes Later*

She responds and yells sternly and still scared, "Wait? Wait? Wait?!" Dorian responds and says sternly trying to reason with Alaric, "Woah, hold up, Ric?" Josette looks over to Dorian and asks sternly, "Just listen to Dorian? Are you Dorian?" Dorian nods and she says to him, "I'm Jo!" Dorian says in shock and retorts, "Your his dead wife? I mean Fiancée?" She nods and he looks over to Alaric and asks still shocked bout this, "You don't think she's actually... Alaric cuts him off and says serious, "No. I don't!" Dorian nods and then asks, "Did she say how she got here?!" Josette responds and explains, "I was sort of yanked awake and then suddenly I found myself here." Alaric nods and remarks, "You don't find it suspicious bout that?!" He continues to point the crossbow at her and Dorian says with a smile and retorts, "Are you thinking, what I'm thinking?" Alaric nods and retorts sternly, "Yea kill her now, before she attacks!" She puts her hands up again and says still in shock and protests, "Wait what?!" Dorian shakes his head and explains to him, "I was more into interrogating her, because she's the next monster... Alaric and Josette looks over to him as he continues, "She may know more than the Dryad did?!" Josette says nothing and Alaric sighs in defeat and puts the crossbow down. Alaric looks over to him and says sternly, "K but no one sees her, especially today!" Dorian nods in understanding and Alaric says serious, "I need Emma!" Dorian nods and leaves.

*Emma Tig's Office*

Emma and Faye are talking bout Faye's feelings, for Landon. She's wearing, her school uniform. She's seating on the edge of the chair and speaks. "I mean obviously nothing's going to come out of it? I mean I may never see him again?" Emma is drinking coffee from her mug and she sits it down as Faye continues, "I mean nobody wants the phone thing, but I do like the sound of his voice. It's low and smart-sounded." Emma is sitting, across from Faye and smiles as she continues, "Kinda of soothing... Emma says nothing as she continues and says in shock, "Oh my God, who am I rite now?" Faye grabs a cup of water and takes a sip and Emma laughs and retorts, "A normal teenager, although I do love hearing you talk bout something as simplest as a boyfriend?" Emma's phone buzzes and she grabs it off of the table and sees a text from Alaric, 'I need to see you ASAP!' She looks shocked and then stands and says to Faye sternly before leaving, "You don't need a Counselor Faye, you need friends besides, Tatia and Riker!" She leaves and goes to Alaric's office.
