Chapter 13: The Devil is Damned

*New Orleans, Louisiana- St. Louis Cathedral Bell Tower-Morning*

Finn is standing near a table with a map on it and does a poppet doll locator spell and chants, "De vuales numerus puerum! De vuales numerus puerum!" The locator spell doesn't work and the maps get caught on fire. Finn throws a tantrum upset and knocks off objects on the table and onto the floor and sits the poppet doll down on the table and turns to the doorway and sees a girl with long light brown hair and wearing black clothes and a blue amulet necklace and she smiles at him and he asks, "Who are you?" She responds and says, "I was wondering if you'd recognize me? But then again you look a bit different urself!" She smiles and he says sternly, "I'm gonna ask you again, before I ask much less nicely, Who are you?!" She smiles and takes a step forward to him and says, "I figured I'd find you up here, we used to climb in the trees when we playing a bit of mischief, never wanted mother to hear what her little Hugninn and Muninn was whispering bout, now Finn don't break my heart and tell me you forgot me?!" He responds and says, "It can't be!" She nods and smiles and he says in shock, "Freya!" She smiles and gives him a hug.

*The Compound*

Rebekah is seating on the am of a chair and looking at her picture on the wall and Klaus sees and she says, "That is just not my chair Nik, it was much more delicate?" Klaus remarks, "The only delicate thing bout you sister is your ego!" Rebekah turns to him and retorts with a smile, "In place beside the bohemia size of yours, certainly!" He laughs and Elijah speaks from the on the phone and says, "Can we please dispense this fascinating speech, and return to the subject of supposedly return of our long lost older sister?!" Rebekah responds and says, "Theirs not much to discuss Elijah, she said she was Freya and then darted off to in the night?" Elijah responds and says, "And you believed her?" She responds and says, "I met the girl in a mystical loony bin, she could be anyone telling any lie, but she did seem familiar in somehow!" Klaus responds and asks, "And how is she still alive? The question is ridiculous as it's possible solutions giving this families annoying predilection for cheating death!" Rebekah sighs and says, "Idk Nik, I'm just telling you what she said..." He responds and asks, "Well did you happened to ask if by some similar miracle if our Aunt Dahlia lives as well?!" She responds and says, "I barely had chance to process..." He cuts her off and says pissed off, "Because out of list of obvious questions, it would be nice to know if the woman who placed a cursed on all firstborns of this family is still breathing air?!" Elijah responds and says, "Enough both of you! If she is who she says we'll find out soon enough, for now it remains imperative that no one learns of Faye's existence, this has been a salvation thus far!" Klaus smiles and remarks, "Unless Caroline's husband to be, starts flapping his gums? Perhaps I should take preventive measures and separate him from his head?!" Elijah responds and says sternly, "Jackson will do nothing to jeopardize that wedding!" Rebekah looks at Klaus shocked and says, "Caroline is getting married? Well, what in hell else did I miss?!" Klaus smiles.

*The Bayou*

Jackson is seating on the porch sharpen a stake with his knife and Caroline walks over to him carrying a broom and asks, "Why do people keep leaving broomsticks on the porch, seeing as I'm not the sweep cleaning cooking kinda of gal?" She smiles and he smiles and puts his stake down and explains, "Well, back in the day, it wasn't easy getting a preacher out here, so if you were engaged and you couldn't wait, well then the community would let you jump the broom." Caroline responds and asks confused, "Couldn't wait for what?" Jackson laughs and then she figures it out and puts the broom down on the ground and retorts, "I would've just been happy with a pinnae press?" He nods and laughs and says, "It's just a tradition?" She responds, "Yeah, I got it!" He sighs and takes a deep breath and she changes the subject and asks, "So what are you working on?" He gets up and walks over to the crib that's covered up that he made and says, "Oh I started this for your little girl when you were living out here from before, and now that she is alive..." He takes the cover off and shows her the wooden crib with a crescent moon on it and continues, "I figured it was time to finish it?" Caroline looks at it and smiles and then he continues and says, "Theirs something else, I'm getting word from outside of Louisiana, they want to be here for the wedding, they want in on the Unification Ritual!" Caroline responds and says shocked and confused, "I thought the ritual only effected the power of the wolves in our pack?" Jackson responds and says, "Unless they recognize, me as their Alpha, then your power becomes their power!" Caroline responds and asks, "So you think that the other Alphas will step down and submit to you?" Jackson smiles and says, "Their coming here today, just to do that! They all want your power Caroline, we all do and in a couple of weeks after the wedding, you are going to have one hell of an army to protect your little girl!" She smiles.
