Chapter 11: We're Gonna Need a Spotlight?

*Nighttime- The Saltzman Boarding School: For the Young and Gifted- The Hallway/The Woods*

Faye, Dorian and Alaric rush out of their rooms in their pajamas and they hear a bell ring and Faye comments with a smile, "Sounds like the trap worked?" Dorian sighs and says tired and grabs a sword, "Shit!" They leave and go outside and walk through a forest of trees and to where the trap is. Faye comments and remarks to Alaric, "Ik that this isn't important, but you couldn't have had put pants on first?" He responds and says tired, "It's a little bit too early for your snarky remarks, Faye." Dorian nods and retorts bout the monster, "Any guess on what were up against today?" Alaric responds and remarks, "For all we know it could be the devil himself?" Dorian sees a big white horse trapped and comments with a smile, "False alarm, it's just a horse." Alaric nods and retorts, "It must've gotten out, of the stables and wandered into the barrier spell?" Faye takes a step forward and retorts and admits, "Except we don't have a white horse?" She sees two horns on top of the creature's head and the unicorn looks over to them and rush over to where they are and Alaric and Dorian prepare to fight it off but Faye jumps into the circle and puts her hands out to them and protects it and says in disbelief, "Wait? Wait, hold your fire!" Dorian shakes his head and retorts serious, "It's a monster whose after, the relic!" She shakes her head and looks over to Alaric and says in disbelief, "Your not seriously suggesting that we kill a unicorn?" Alaric says nothing and Dorian responds and retorts, "Your not seriously suggesting we give it a pass because it's cute?" Alaric nods and agrees with him and she responds and says, "Can't we just leave it alone? It's trapped. It's not going anywhere, it's harmless." Alaric and Dorian look back at each other... A pink caterpillar pops out of the creature's ear and onto the ground where Faye is and she doesn't notice as Alaric responds and agrees with her, "Faye's rite, as, long as we keep it alive? Other creatures won't be coming for the relic." Dorian looks at him in disbelief and then look back at the creature as he continues, "We'll just stay alert and let it be!" The caterpillar crawls on Faye's shoe and she doesn't see it. Dorian says tired and sternly, "Alright, well I'll be alert and back in bed." He leaves and then they leave and go back inside the school and get some rest.

*Morning- Faye's Bedroom*

Faye's asleep in bed and she moves a little in her sleep and the pink caterpillar crawls up her nostril and she rubs her nose and then sits up and feels overjoyed than normal and smiles.

*The Lounge/Alaric's Office*

Landon and Rafael are wearing, casual clothes. Landon is sitting, in one couch, and Rafael is sitting, in a chair next to him. Faye walks in and over to where they are and she's wearing a blue top and white short shorts with navy boots and she says with a smile to Landon, "Morning handsome... He smiles at her as she wraps her arm around him and Rafael looks away and she says to him, "Morning Rafi." He smiles and then she sees a donut and grabs it and says with a smile, "Mm, sweet carbs." Rafael comments and says in shock, "Well someone's in a good mood?" She smiles and takes her bag off, and lays in the couch and retorts, "I guess, I just woke up on the right side of the bed this morning?" Landon smiles and remarks, "For the first time ever?" She grabs his hands and says with a smile, "Your so funny, I love that bout you." He smiles.

Lizzie and Josie walk in with their arms locked with each other and Lizzie says with a smile and recalls bout what Victoria said to them, "Remember what mom said, 'We are eerily clouds floating high above a turbulence sea of drama... Josie nods and retorts with a smile, 'Two clouds that are not triggered by seeing ex-boyfriends?' Lizzie over at Rafael and then back to her and says with a smile, 'Who also doesn't make out with ex-girlfriends?' Josie nods and then Lizzie looks down at her silver bracelet and comments, "Now thanks to mom, I have a silver lining." Josie nods and retorts with a smile, "Saltzman twins 2.0." Then they walk down the steps and over to where Rafael, Landon and Faye are. They all look over to them and Lizzie speaks and says with a smile, "Good morning, Rafael." He smiles and says, "Hi, how was your trip?" Lizzie says nothing and smiles and Josie responds and retorts, "Excellent, thank you." Rafael opens his mouth to say something else, but is cut off by Josie who says to Landon with a smile, "Welcome back Lan?" He responds and retorts still upset bout the vote and recalls with a smile, "Didn't you vote me out?!" Faye rest her hand on his shoulder and calms him down. Lizzie speaks and retorts sternly, "That's all in the past... He looks over to Faye and then mutters silently, "K." Lizzie continues and says with a smile, "Now if everyone's excited as I am bout tonight?" Landon looks confused and retorts, "What's happening tonight?" Faye laughs and then explains to him and Rafael with a smile, "The school's annual talent show, all the fractions compete... They nod in understanding and then she looks over to Josie and Lizzie and remarks, "You know, the witch performance isn't going be the same without you!" Josie responds and retorts, "Thank you." Faye laughs and the Alaric speaks on the announcement, "If I could have your attention, last night we happened to catch a monster here on the grounds, we have everything under control, but with this potential danger?" Faye holds Landon's hand and he smiles at her as Alaric continues, "With a heavy heart, I must postpone the talent show... Lizzie and Josie looks shocked and upset as Alaric continues, "But we will reschedule this unique event at a later date. A much, much later date?" He laughs. Faye speaks and retorts with a smile, "Kinda overkill if you asked me? I told your dad that a unicorn rarely counts as a monster?" They look upset and go to his office. Landon and Rafael look at Faye shocked bout the creature and Faye lays her head on Landon's shoulder and he hugs her.
