Chapter 16: Le Grand Guignol

*The Mansion-Claire's Bedroom, Morning*

Caroline walks in and Claire looks up to her and says, "You can come in sis?" Caroline walks in and shuts the door behind her and walks over to where Claire is seating and asks, "Are you k?! I know it's a dumb question, but I care bout you and I just wanted to know!" Claire responds, "Idk I'm still sad and miss Rebekah a lot." Caroline nods and says, "I miss her too, but don't worry Elijah and Marcel are on it k?" Claire nods and then asks, "Why didn't you tell me, Ty was back?!" Caroline looks at her shocked and says, "I was going to tell you when you first moved in here, but things kept happening, so I didn't but I was going to tell you yesterday, I'm sorry!" Claire responds, "It's k, we had a lot going on." Caroline nods and then asks curious, "Who told you that Tyler was back?!" Claire responds and says, "He told me last night accidently thinking that I already knew! He told me that he wants you back and I told him to stay away from you and then Luke showed up!" Caroline looks at her shocked and asks, "Did Luke hurt you?!" Claire nods and says, "Tyler, didn't do anything to stop him!" Caroline hugs her and says, "I'm so sorry!" Claire starts crying.

Claire then stops crying and turns to Caroline and says, "I have to tell you something, it's important and I hope you don't judge me or look at me differently?" Caroline responds and says, "Hey, I won't, it's k whatever it is?" Claire shakes her head and says, "No it's not and that I'm a whore!" Caroline responds and says, "Hey, look at me, don't say that! You and I both know that's not true!" Claire responds and says, "What I want to tell you is bout our adoptive father!" Caroline then asks, "Did he do something to you?!" Claire nods and responds, "When you were at school or making grocery errands or hanging out with Ty. Dad would force himself on me and he told me not to tell you! I wanted to tell you back then but he threaten to kill me!"

Caroline responds and says, "You did nothing wrong and that he completely took advantage of you! How long has this been going on?" Claire continues and says, "Since I was 12! You were only 10 when dad started sexually abusing me and mom was barely around cause of work." Caroline looks at her sad as she continues, "The one place I thought that I could be safe was in my room, but of course I was wrong and he forced himself on me when I was asleep and then eventually he made it a regular routine and Luke knows everything, that Dad did to me!" Caroline asks, "How does he know?!" "Cause dad said that he was k with me having a boyfriend as long as Luke joined in- in the fun so he knows!" Caroline then hugs her and says, "I'm sorry and I don't see you differently, I love you Claire and that won't change, I promise!" Claire nods and lays down trying to get some sleep.

*The Fleur-Del-Lis-Sanatorium*

Rebekah is laying down on a bed, her face and skin is pale, open her eyes and she starts looking around wondering she's at and how she got there and sits up and starts having flashbacks of being there from a long time ago. She gets up from off the bed, stands up holding the railing of the end of the bed, trying to keep her balance and then she thinks she heard a noise and asks, "Who's there?" Nobody's there and she starts running to out of the room and into another and then sees two brown wooden doors and runs to it and opens the door and leaves and continues walking and turns and looks at the structure of the place and asks confused, "How the hell did I get here?!" She then turns back and continues walking and stops at the stairs and then Genevieve stabs her through the chest with a wooden object from behind and Rebekah falls down onto the ground in pain on her back and looks up at her and says scared and gasps, "Genevieve!" Geneviève responds with a smile and says, "Rebekah, tell me your not leaving already, I thought we might be reminisce!" Rebekah passes out and Genevieve smiles and looks back at the window of the building at Celeste and then Celeste walks away from the window over to where Klaus is laying at, his face and skin is pale, strap down to a table wearing no shirt and weak and in pain, anguish.
