Chapter 12: Sanctuary

*New Orleans, Louisiana-Dowager Fauline Cottage-Nighttime*

Rebekah is still asleep in her room and in Freya's room she uses her magic and blue amulet necklace to open the door to her room to leave and goes to Rebekah's room and opens her door and sees her sleeping and she shows her flashbacks and memories of her being taken by Aunt Dahlia and walks over to her and smiles.

*The Bayou-Morning*

Kids are playing, catching a ball and it rolls over to Klaus and he smiles and picks it up for the little boy and says to the people, "I wonder if you lot can help me? I'm looking for the hybrid that calls herself your queen?!" Nobody says anything and glares at him and Klaus continues and says, "I suggest you tell me where she is, before I grow irritated?!" He gives the kid the ball and says with a smile, "After all their are children present!" He smiles.

Caroline is near where the river is and throwing rocks into the water and Jackson sees her and walks over to her and says, "You scared me I was worried you ran off in the middle of the night!" She smiles and says, "No, I was just out here thinking!" She throws another rock in the water and he grabs one and throws it in too and she turns to him and says, "Jack, ik I'm supposed to divulge my great secrets but I-I can't, I can't even tell you why I can't!" He responds and says, "Do you really think that there's a secret you have that's so bad that you can't tell me?" She nods and says, "It's not safe, Jack!" He responds and says, "When have we been safe Caroline? Now our people have been cursed, hunted, exiled, you and me, this wedding we can change all that we can create a new pack one with your ability to turn at will?" He pauses and smiles and then continues, "So we divulge our secrets and if we don't then the transfer of power won't work and we're back to where we were! Look even if we call off the wedding, their is still something I need to tell you?" She responds and says, "Jack I'm sure you've lived quite the life, but I can't imagine it that your secrets are anything like mine!" He responds and reveals to her, "Theirs one, it has to do with how your parents died!"

*The Dowager Fauline Cottage*

Cassie is playing the piano and Rebekah walks into the room and sees her and sits down on the bench near her and Cassie comments, "You look terrible?" Rebekah responds and says, "I didn't sleep very well!" Cassie responds and says, "I heard you were up past curfew, again!" Rebekah smiles and says, "It's a simple misunderstanding, Kindred witches like to be in charge, I don't much care for taking damn orders..." Cassie sighs and goes back to playing the piano and Rebekah continues, "On that note, here?" Rebekah gives her a red apple and she looks around to see anyone else sees and asks, "Where did you get that?" Rebekah smiles and says, "I lifted it from the pantry..." Cassie cuts her off and says scared and sternly, "But the Kindred..." Rebekah sighs and says, "Did you miss the part where I said that I don't care bout rules? Take the apple!" Cassie shakes her head and says, "Your out of your mind!" She gets up and walks away from her and Rebekah sighs and follows her and says, "I'm a free spirit..." Cassie seats down in a chair and Rebekah sits down next to her and continues, "Which is why I don't intend to spend another night trapped in this bloody dudgeon!" Cassie responds and asks, "What are you talking bout?!" Rebekah explains, "You know that any spell can be broken with enough power and all we need to do is channel something strong? I went to a room through a locked door there's something in there, someone I'm not sure who she is or why she's here and I don't care! The point is she's strong, I mean I didn't even know what witch power felt like and still I could sense it coming out of the room in waves; you and I can channel her and bust free of this loony bin!" Rebekah smiles and holds the apple out again and Cassie smiles and takes it.

They get up and sees a girl watching television in another room and Rebekah asks curious, "Whose the new girl at the television?" Cassie responds and says, "One more bunker switch that got dumped here in the middle of the night!" Cassie leaves and Rebekah smiles and walks over to her and asks friendly, "Anything good on?" Freya smiles and responds, "These paintings can move?" Rebekah responds and says, "Their just cartoons." Rebekah kneels near her and asks curious, "Do I know you from somewhere?" Freya says nothing and Rebekah says, "I guess not?" She takes out an apple from her jacket and gives it to her and says, "Keep up your strength love, enjoy your cartoons!" Rebekah leaves and Freya takes the apple.
