Chapter 15: An Old Friend Calls

*The Compound-Klaus's Office-Meeting, Morning*

Klaus opens up a safe hidden behind a portrait of Rebekah and he lays it down on the floor and then grabs a brown wooden box with letters inside. Freya is wearing a beige top and black leggings and says, "You collect trophies from all of your victims?" Elijah is seating in a chair and explains, "Letters to their loved ones to be specific." Klaus responds and retorts, "It was a phase." Elijah nods and says, "A phase we forced to learn in a different kind of stealth. You see over time Niklaus's enemies grew so enormous we had no choice but to oddly withdraw from the world and then... He pauses and looks over to Freya with a smile and continues, "Well I exactly wouldn't describe our presence in this city discreet! Wouldn't you agree Niklaus?" Klaus turns to them and says sternly, "We all saw the white oak destroyed. Plus this city was crawling with vampires, all of whom had no choice but to shield me from potential foes! If I to die, they would die too. I couldn't of been more safe? And now my sire link is undone! Those very foes will come for me, like never before!" Freya sighs and remarks, "It's only been a few days since the link has been broken! Must you jump into crippling paranoia already?" Elijah responds and retorts, "It's a default setting!" Klaus retorts and yells, "And with good reason!" Elijah stands and says, "Niklaus if it offers you any solstice what so ever? We ransacked Aya's belongings... He walks over to him and continues, "Torched Aurora's hunting ground and obviated every last splinter of the white oak!" Klaus takes a step forward to him and says sternly not taking any chances, "I would be mad to believe that!" Elijah smiles and remarks, "Perhaps you should see a therapist?" Klaus glares at him upset and then to Freya who looks away and Klaus leaves and Freya asks, "Every last splinter, are you sure?" Elijah says nothing.

*Saint Anne's Church*

Cami is practicing her boxing skills in angry on a punching bag with Vincent holding it. He gives her critical advice and yells, "Keep your hands up!" She scoffs and retorts, "Up?" She stops for a second and retorts, "I'm at least foot taller than Aurora? Not that-that won't stop her from kicking my ass!" She punches the bag again and he says confused, "Aurora? I thought Klaus took care of her?" She stops again and reveals to him, "According to Caroline, he condemned her to a fate worse than death! Translation not dead." She punches the bag again and says sternly, "Which means sooner or later I'm screwed!" He says nothing as she continues, "She turned me hoping that it'll bring Klaus back into her arms, it didn't! So when she gets out whatever she is ripping my heart out will be number one on her do list!" She kicks the bag with her leg and he comments, "Woah there!" She looks at him sad and says disappointed, "I thought he would rip her head off, he didn't!" He holds the bag again and she starts punching it again and he asks, "Are you scared that she's going to come for you? Or that there's a reason he didn't kill her?" She says nothing and continues punching the bag and he comments, "Or we could not talk and continue to hit things?" She continues punching the bag and Klaus walks in and sees and says, "I prefer we use our words?" She stops and looks over to him and Vincent glares at him upset. Klaus looks over to him and says, "I have a few matters which I would like to discuss with Camille?" She sighs and says nothing and looks over to Vincent and he continues, "Matters of a personal nature?" He looks over to her and says sternly, "To be discussed within appropriate professional boundaries, of course?" She looks down and says nothing and he asks, "Shall we?" She sighs and nods.

*Davina's Room*

Kol is sleeping in her bed and she seating at her desk reading a book and sees him wake up and look over to her and she comments worried, "You've been asleep for three days?" She closes her book and stands behind a chair and he nods and says with a smile sitting up, "Regenerating from ash, takes a lot out of a man?" She smiles and he stands up wearing black jeans with no shirt on and says with a smile, "You have no idea, how badly I want to kiss you rite now?" She smiles and asks, "So, what's stopping you?" He smiles and looks at the sun and puts his hand out and it burns and says to her, "Well I could take the heat if it means I get to kiss you? But by letting the church burn on fire might be considered sacrilegious!" She looks at him shocked and says confused, "But you were a witch?" He responds and reveals to her, "The spell you used brought me back as I was when I died in this body!" She nods and says scared, "Kol, I've heard the stories, when your a vampire your a... He cuts her off and says, "A psychotic maniac?" She nods and he assures her, "But I didn't have you. Are you worth me good for?" She looks up at him as he continues and pleads with her, "I won't hurt you, I promise you-you can trust me?" She nods and walks over to him and smiles and cups his face with her hands and kisses him and he responds to the kiss. They stop and he cups her face with his hands and she touches his chest and he says with a smile, "At the risk that this doesn't sound to forward but I need you to put a ring on this finger?" She laughs and he continues and says, "A family ring as an order?" She sighs and says scared and reveals to him, "Kol bout your family? I'm pretty sure Klaus wants me dead!" She rest her head on his shoulder and he hugs her and sighs.
