Chapter 5: I Hear You Knocking

*Flashback-990 A.D.-Morning*

Klaus is walking around in the forest and finds a bowl near a rock and picks it up and then walks over to the blueberry bush and collects blueberries in the bowl. He then mixes the blueberries into paint. He dips his paintbrush in and starts painting on his palette. Suddenly hears someone screaming for help in the forest and fighting sounds. He goes over to where the sound is curious. He sees dead bodies on the ground and guy hung in the tree with a sword through his chest. The guy wakes up and says to him, "Please help me?" Before Klaus could respond Mikael shows up and walks over to the guy stabs him with his sword and Klaus looks shocked and Mikael turns to him and points his sword at him and yells pissed off, "You would show mercy to a enemy? A fiend who plotted to raid our home!" His puts his sword down and says sternly, "Mercy is for the weak Niklaus!" He walks over to him and Klaus take a step back scared as he continues, "Look at you boy? You are pathetic and if you are determined to prove urself a weak link? I should cast you out! That way your brothers and sister won't be exposed to a coward!"

*Flashback Ends*

*New Orleans-Nighttime-The Compound-Klaus's Office*

Klaus fell asleep at his desk and he wakes up. He gets up and leaves the room and goes to his and opens the door and sees Faye asleep. Then suddenly a blue light appears behind him and he shuts the door and walks out. Faye's awake and looks out the window scared.

*St. James Infirmary-Morning*

Marcel is seating at the counter and takes a sip of his drink and Sabrina walks in wearing a black dress and sees him and walks over to where he's at and asks concerned, "You didn't come back to your place last night. What's going on?" He responds and says frustrated, "I have just spent the last 6hrs going over to any palm reader, ecstasy, witch doctor ik. Now they all said I'm fine, but ever since the Bayou something is off!" She responds and asks sternly, "What do you mean off?" He says nothing and points to the broken mirror that has the scorpion sigil on it and she says shocked, "The mirror cracked in the exact same sigil we've seen all over town!" He turns to her and reveals to her, "We killed witches, who followed that and they tried to anchor us and to our world! Now I think... I think it's anchored to me!" She responds and says sternly, "Then you need a witch? A good one! Ik someone." He nods and says, "I need a New Orleans witch? Vincent has history with this thing and this thing did just kill his friend so I think he'll help me!" She looks away and then back to him and remarks, "And in the meantime I'm supposed to what? Cross my fingers and hope your not possessed!" He shakes his head and says sternly, "That's not going to happen to me!" She responds and says, "Good, because I'm not letting you out of my sight until your cured." He says nothing.

*Back at The Compound*

Klaus is walking down the spiral staircase and yells, "Faye!" He walks over to a mirror and looks at it and his eyes glow blue and Mikael declares to him, "Today you will die at the hands of Marcel! Unless you kill your enemy first?" Klaus looks shocked and Faye walks over to him wearing a white blouse and jean shorts and says to him breaking him out of his trance, "Dad?" He walks over to her as she continues, "Were ready to go. Aren't you coming?" He says nothing.

Elijah and Klaus walk down the hallway and Klaus says to him sternly, "You take her without me, take Faye!" He responds and says confused, "What are you saying?" They continue walking and Klaus explains, "My daughter nearly died. I need to make sure the threat to her is over!" Elijah shakes his head and puts his hand out and says sternly, "Not without me!" Klaus turns to him and says, "Brother, Marcel loathes you most of all! Freya will help me here. I need to know my child is safe? You and Care can assure that!" Elijah says nothing and Klaus leaves.

*St. Louis Cathedral*

Keelin is laying on a mattress wearing a white tank top and green overalls and black boots and there's a empty bottle of alcohol near the bed and she holds her stomach and sits up and sees a mug of coffee on the floor and asks Freya, "Is this for me?" Freya looks over at her as she grabs the mug and says, "Oh sweet lord and mercy!" She drinks and then remarks to her, "This almost makes up for the whole kidnapping thing!" Freya smiles and retorts, "Well let's not forget the whole kidnapping thing kept you alive?" She smiles and Keelin looks over at her as she continues, "And as for the coffee? It's the least I could do since you helped us make a breakthrough." Keelin nods and recalls, "The last I remember was... She stands up and continues, "You saying you figured it out?" Freya looks over at her as she continues and then goes back to stirring a substance in a bowl in circular motion. "You started drinking Tequila like water... She smiles and walks over to her and asks, "So how am I borderline comatose? And your little miss sunshine?" Freya smiles and grabs a bronze bowl and says, "Because of this? Hangover Cure." Keelin takes it and looks at her shocked as she continues, "A thousand yrs old. Also... Keelin sniffs it and then drinks. Freya grabs a sword from behind in shows it to her cheery, "Mission Accomplished!" Keelin responds and asks sternly, "Do you really think that weapon can kill Marcel?" Freya nods and admits, "It took some time. My blood. Esther's magic. Marcel's Venom and the ashes of Lucien Castle... Keelin smiles as she continues, "Combined it'll be powerful enough to kill him!" Keelin smiles and says cheery, "So were done than?" Freya turns to her as she continues, "Yea, I go back to my life and you go back to yours!" Freya looks down and then says with a smile, "Yeah. A deal's a deal!" Freya looks at her sad and Keelin comments and takes a step forward, "Hey, don't look so disappointed? I mean this wasn't exactly meant to be built on friendship." Freya nods and says, "I guess this is goodbye?" Keelin takes another step forward and retorts, "Well, like you said mission accomplished. K so I'll see you." Freya nods and Keelin leaves. Freya's phone buzzes and she takes it out and looks at the message from Klaus, 'Need to talk!'
