Chapter 2: No Quarter

*Austin Texas- The Woods, Morning*

A guy is running scared and trips and falls onto the ground and then hides behind a tree and Kol smiles and comments, "I admit I do like a good chase. However, I am quite famished!" They guy looks at him scared and Kol smiles and flashes over to him and bites his neck and feeds until he's dead and the guy screams loudly and Rebekah comments to Elijah, Freya, Claire and Caroline, "Good lord that guy got some lungs on him. He should of been an opera singer?" Freya walks over to them as she continues, "It might of been better for him." Elijah is sitting on the ground near the dead bodies and wrecked truck. Freya asks them, "Is this absolutely necessary?" Rebekah retorts, "Well that depends?" Caroline is wearing a green blouse and black leggings. She is on the phone with one of her contacts from New Orleans and Claire is wearing a blue vest and white leggings. She is keeping a lookout for trouble. Rebekah continues speaking with Freya, "Do you want us at our full strength or do you plan on rescuing Nik on your own?" Freya retorts annoyed, "Well death rattles are distracting and I'm trying to break a cloaking spell?" Elijah yells, "Kol, would you please!" The guy stops screaming dead and Elijah yells, "Thank you!" Elijah takes out his handkerchief and wipes his mouth and then turns to Freya and asks, "You were saying?" Freya continues, "I can sense that Klaus is still in New Orleans. Mostly likely somewhere underground?" Kol walks out as she continues, "I can't get a read most likely where unless I'm in the city itself!" Claire walks over to them and Caroline hangs up the phone and walks over to them and reveals, "Yeah that's going to be a problem! I have contacts in New Orleans. And as you can imagine the place is crawling with vampires all of whom who hate all of us! Whatever we do we need to do it fast?" Freya responds and admits, "Well I wasn't planning on a public brawl. I don't want to stay any longer than I have too, but we need to go?!" Kol shakes his head and protests, "Woah, woah, wait were not doing this today?" Rebekah responds and retorts, "Hasn't Nik suffered enough?" He responds and says, "Yes! But I've died twice. And I'm not bout to give Marcel a shot to third!" Rebekah rolls her eyes and sighs as he continues and suggests, "Now I say we draw that moppet out of town? And when he's gone... Claire responds, "I have been away from Tatianna long enough!" Caroline agrees and says, "And I have been away from Faye long enough!" She smiles and remarks, "If your afraid?" He responds and says sternly, "It's called being sensible! Until Freya makes enough cures with her werewolf hostage? Marcel can basically chew through our bloody throats!" Elijah looks up at him and says tired, "Enough! We're all in danger.... He stands up and informs them, "We free Niklaus today, even if I have to burn that place to the ground!" He starts to leave and they follow behind him.

*New Orleans-Marcel's Penthouse, Morning*

Sabrina sits her computer on some books and Marcel asks, "So what's the issue?" She responds and reveals to him, "Some vampires track down Caroline and Claire Forbes Kaine in Austin Texas. Where they were attacked while visiting one of the locals." She shows him the footage of Caroline and Keelin talking in the bar. Marcel looks at it and retorts, "Well that's not the first time somebody's tried and failed to take down Caroline and Claire." She nods and says, "True... She puts her computer away in her bag. "But this time they weren't the only ones they were tracking!" He looks at her surprised and confused and she explains, "The other target whoever she and Claire were with? She must've have been important, so I did some digging. Does the name Malraux ring a bell?" He nods and admits, "The Malraux pack was wiped out by Lucien over five yrs ago." She nods and reveals, "So everyone thought, but the women Caroline and Claire met with is an fact the last of the line!" He looks shocked and says scared, "If they found a Malraux, they could have the venom from all of the Seven Packs. Which means there's a chance they have the cure to my bite?" She nods and informs him, "And if they did, they can wake the Mikaelsons!" Marcel responds and says sternly, "They could be on the way rite now!" She nods.
