Chapter 9: The River in Reverse

*The Mikaelson Mansion, Morning- Klaus's Bedroom*

Caroline wakes up and she sees that Klaus is still asleep and then, she looks over to her rite and doesn't see Elijah. As she sits up, she feels Klaus grab her wrist and she turns to him. "Your awake?" Caroline says cheerily stating the obvious. "Who are you looking for?" Klaus asks. "Elijah wasn't here, when I woke up and I'm started to think, something's wrong?!" Caroline admits and responds worried and concerned. Klaus sits up and cups her face in his hands comforting her. "I'm sure, my brother's fine, love. He can take care of himself!" Klaus assures her. "K." Caroline responds as she lays back down. Klaus then starts kissing her and she responds and then, he stops, gets up and goes to his closet to pick out in an outfit. Caroline then goes into her bag and pulls out some light brown shorts and white jacket with lace to it, with nothing underneath it. Then, they both go downstairs to the kitchen and the living room.

*The Living Room/The Kitchen*

Klaus and Caroline walk in the kitchen and Caroline sits down on a stool at the counter, watching Klaus cook breakfast. Elijah comes downstairs and sees her and walks up to where she's at and then, starts kissing her right shoulder and then, he unzippins her jacket and starts touching her between her legs and she rests her head on his shoulder. Klaus stops cooking and then, turns to them. "Elijah, can you please stop that, and that breakfast is ready!" Klaus announces annoyed and Elijah removes his hand from her and then, washes his hand and eats. "Thanks, for making me, breakfast, Nik!" Caroline says grateful. "Of course, love!" Klaus replies.

"Caroline, will you, excuse me, for a second and that I need, to have a word, with my brother?!" Klaus asks. "K." Caroline responds. "What is it?" Elijah asks. "I don't want you, touching Caroline like that; especially, when, I'm only a few feet away!" Klaus explains. "K, it won't happen again!" Elijah assures him. Klaus then walks back into the kitchen and puts his hand out and she clasps it and they go back upstairs.

Elijah hears someone, knock on the front door and he opens it, to reveal two women at the door, with long brown hair curled and the other straight. "Katherina Petrova, what a surprise; why are you here?!" Elijah asks shocked, since he hasn't seen her, in the past 8 months ago, before he came to New Orleans. "I've missed you Elijah!-" Katherine pauses as she kisses him and flashes them over onto the couch. She stops kissing him and continues "But that's not, the only reason, why I've come!" She admits as Elijah gently pushes her off him and looks at the other girl, who's watching them and then, back at Katherine. "Then, why did you and who is she?!" Elijah asks curious and annoyed. Katherine flashes over to the girl and grabs her hand and walks her over to Elijah and then, responds answering his question. "This is my daughter, Lijah! This is Nadia Petrova and when, we were traveling with a group of witches, called: The Travelers. Which, you know, already, is that my father was one and so, am I and my daughter; but we never really, tapped into our magical abilities, because my father said, that it was the devil's magic!" Katherine reveals and explains.

"I'm glad, that we finally got to meet, Elijah and that you have no idea, how much, my mom talked about you, as her boyfriend. I mean, she loves you and don't break her heart!" Nadia explains to him happy for her mom. "I'm glad, we got to meet too, Nadia!" Elijah agrees.

"Can you please, get to the part of the story, that is a bit of use to me?!" Elijah asks bored. "Well, when we were with the witches, one of them dropped unconsciously and was like that, for three days. He woke up and claimed, he'd seen the mighty Hybrid Niklaus, in love. And as a father. I made sure, he did not tell a soul, for what I felt inclined, to find out this information, myself and judging by the two heartbeats coming from upstairs, I would say, what he saw, was true!"

Katherine clears her throat and continues. "He said that the witches here, are revving up for something big. Some sort of Harvest ritual, that contains sacrificial magic, that would be used to resurrect four witches chosen, by the Elders and the Ancestors, then, comes the reaping, when they must be reborn and have great power, like no other witch, so they can kill Niklaus! Katherine reveals to Elijah.
