Chapter 24: From a Cradle to a Grave

*Flashback-The Compound-Morning*

Caroline is wearing a royal blue lacey dress and is seating in a brown rocking chair writing in her diary with a smile and Klaus sees her and says, "Writing a love letter to many of your suitors? So whose the lucky guy? Jackson, or Elijah?" She smiles and looks down and he gasps and says, "Don't tell me, it's me?" She laughs and looks away from him with a smile and he comments and says, "I thought I was out of the running ages ago?!" She responds and says, "And the award goes to for biggest ego..." He laughs and she smiles and feels the baby kick and he asks, "How is our littlest wolf?" She smiles and asks caressing her abdomen, "Do you want to?" He smiles at her and she says, "Come on?" He kneels and touches her abdomen and feels the baby kick and she responds, "Did you feel that?" She laughs and he smiles and then he stands up and says, "Rite, I'll leave you to your secret letter than!" He leaves and she watches and then she grabs her diary and writes, 'Dear Faye Claire Kaine, to my little girl, your dad just asked if this is a love letter, I guess it kinda of is.' 'I never got to know my real mother and I have no idea what she must've thought when she carried me, so I thought I should write to you, so you know how happy I am in this very moment.' 'How much your father and I can't wait to meet you and I want to make you a promise, three things that you'll have that I never did.' 'A safe home, someone to tell you they love you every single day and someone to fight for you no matter what; in other words family.'

'So there you go baby girl, the rest we'll have to figure out together.'

'I love you, your mom!'

*Flashback Ends*

*Back at Saint Anne's Church*

Klaus opens the doors and they slam shut and he see Caroline laying on a table and she looks over to him scared and a guy gets in his way to stop him from taking another step and Klaus uses his claws and rips his head off and Monique, Abagail, and Genevieve put their hands out and raises him up in the air and puts him up against the wall behind them and he tries to move but he can't and they put their hands down and Geneviève grabs a knife and says to Klaus, "You should know this brings me no joy! I promise I'll make it quick!" She turns to the others and they lay a towel over her and Genevieve responds and says, "Let's begin shall we!" Caroline shakes her head and says, "No, No, No!"

*Back at The Compound*

Davina walks in and sees vampires on the floor coughing and groaning in pain and she walks over to Marcel and Cami. "Cami" She turns to her and so does Marcel and she sees the bite and says, "Oh God! What happened?!" Cami responds and says, "He and Klaus fought and he got bit!" Davina shakes her head and says, "Marcel!" He puts a hand on her shoulder and says, "It's k, I gave as good as I got! But we need Klaus's blood to heal!" He walks past her and she turns to him and takes a step forward and says, "You fought Klaus, did he bleed?!" He nods and says, "Yeah I got him pretty good!" She responds and asks, "Where?!"

*Royal & Dauphine Street*

Davina is walking down the street and she gets flashbacks of Marcel and Klaus fighting and she picks up a cup from off of the ground and puts it on the car and sees blood on it and puts her arms out and raises her hands up and closes her eyes and chants, "Venez sanguis. Venez sanguis, Venez sanguis la force de la bête à moi!" Josh starts walking around and sees Davina and walks over to the car and says, "Davina, what the hell?" She stops and puts her arms down and takes a step forward to him and says, "Josh, what are you doing here, I told you to rest!" He scoffs and says, "I'm fine!" She shakes her head and says, "Your going to start hallucinating soon!" He scoffs and says, "I mean unless I'm hallucinating you standing here in the middle of the street and chanting for no reason, wait, am I?!" She responds and says, "I'm going to save you, I'm going to save all of you!" She closes her eyes again and raises her hands up and chants again, "Venez sanguis. Venez sanguis, Venez sanguis la force de la bête à moi!" The blood floats in the air of the car and into the cup and Josh responds and says, "K, I am hallucinating!"
