26 HP Cho Year 7. Enough Said

In celebration of the birthday of our ginger pranksters, Gred and Forge, here's a chapter with nothing to do with them!

So, in GoF, Harry has a crush on Cho Chang. It is said that she is a year above Harry. Because in PoA, Ch13, Oliver (Wood, the Capitan of Gryf quidditch team, for those of you who've forgotten who he was/never read the books) says "Cho Chang. She's a fourth year, and she's pretty good."
So, she's in 4th in PoA. 5th year in GF, 6th in OP, 7th in HBP... 8th in DH? Um... How does that work?
She is there in the DH movie, as a student. You can clearly see her school robes, so it's not as if she's come back as a teacher or something, even if there is no uni for the WW (But there has to be, because they are professors, and you need to get your degree from somewhere. I wonder if we'll get told of a wizard university, like how we got told of Illvermony.)

I mean, I know why they made her stay back a year--Because she and Luna are basically the only RCs you know in the movies. But there are other Ravenclaws who could have said "But Luna, the diadem's been lost for years" instead of a student who wasn't one anymore!
Terry Boot. Mandy Brocklehurst. Lisa Turpin, Padma Patil. (If you don't know who they are... read the sorting in PS.) Sure, they aren't named in the movies, and you don't really know any other RC students except Luna and Cho (and Marietta, but she doesn't count, the SNEAK she is), but it still would have worked. The blue and sliver (It's fucking BRONZE!) robes would have given it away.
Or even another house. As Hermione proves, not all the smart people are in RC. I can see Ernie McMillan knowing about the diadem, for sure. And he's a HfP!
But because you only know 5 RCs in the whole 8 movies, Luna, Cho, Marietta, Flitwick and The Grey Lady, Cho had to stay back just so Luna wasn't alone.

Also, just a sidenote on HermionexViktor shippers.
Hermione is 14 in GF. Viktor is 17. That is 3 years! Sure, not a lot of difference after school, when they're 20/23 etc., but right now? 14/17 is just weird. They shouldn't be shipped!
