January 25, 1956

Jaquelyn Kennedy sat on the porch. The same porch she had gone into labour on a week and two days ago.

She sighed and then laughed a bit, before she started the task she came outside to do. Finish reading Why England Slept; this time Jackie was smart enough to wear a coat, and she brought a blanket out.

She settled down in her "Bookworm Chair" as Jack called it and started to read. Not even halfway through the first page, Jackie was interrupted by a baby's gurgle and one arm wrapping around her in an odd sort of one armed hug.

Jackie sighed and closed the book before looking up at her husband,"I'm never going to finish the book at this rate Jack."

Jack laughed and handed Bella, who was in his right arm (That explained the one armed hug) to Jackie before settling down in a chair across from her.

He grinned at her, an odd sort of grin. Like a 'Hehehehehe you have no idea what I have in store for you' sort of grin.

Jackie started laughing at the thought, which caused Jack to look at her funny,"What's so funny?"

Jackie replied by laughing harder.

She didn't exactly know why she was laughing, she was acting more Ethel (Bobby's wife) then Jackie these past few days.

Jack continued to stare at her before he seemed to shake himself out of it and the mad grin returned to his face.

"So." Jackie said,"Gonna tell me what you're grinning about Jack?"

Jack's grinned wider than it was and it looked as though the cheshire cat was sitting a few feet away.

"Well." Jack said.

"To celebrate Bella's birth." he grinned a Jackie.

"And since I have two and five days left off work."

Jackie was growing impatient, what was Jack trying to get across her, she wanted to ask,"What are you getting at Jack" but she felt that would be rude, so being Jackie she was quiet.

"We." Jack said "Are going to Hyannis Port."

Jackie neary dropped her daughter on the ground,"Are we really?" she asked, hurriedly re-adjusting Arabella.

"Yes Jackie, we are. I wouldn't get you riled up and have packed your bags when you were downstairs if we weren't."

Jackie laughed,"Oh Jack. Thank you." before she threw her arms around him and Arabella.
