April 14, 1956
Soon after Jack pushed his family into their room the police arrived and the press were herded off and the five pressmen were sued.
Jack and Jackie were left to console Bella who looked ready to drop from all the crying she'd done.
Jack hopped her up and down in his arms and muttered to her,"Come on Bella, Kennedy's don't cry."
Bella responded by crying louder and both adults winced.
Jack muttered under his breath,"Am I dead yet..."
Jackie slapped his arm and gave him a look.
Bella giggled at Jackie and Jack glared playfully at her.
"Traitor, I thought you were daddy's girl."
Bella clapped her hands.
Jackie laughed,"Yep she inherited your spirit." Jack elbowed her and the two laughed.
"Well want me to get the cold breakfast from downstairs or should I start making lunch?" Jackie asked.
"I'd say lunch." Jack grinned.
"But oh, what's that!" Jack faked shock and put his ear to Bella's mouth.
"Oh Bella wants cold breakfast, naughty naughty!"
Bella laughed and clapped her hands.
Jackie smiled and observed her family. Kennedy's always pulled through.
