March 12, 1956

Jack arrived home after a trying meeting. The republicans were crushing the minority party of democrats. That he didn't really mind as he actually agreed with some things the republicans said, it was the fact that everybody around him was complaining.

Jack was ready for bed, despite it being only 5:00. Soft, comfy bed here he came.

However when he came in through the door he somehow knew wasn't going to get straight to bed AT ALL.

Little Bella was in her highchair, Jackie was attempting to feed her mushed peas.

"You know." Jack said as he came in and took off his coat.

"I thought that babies didn't start eating till they were like six months? Bella's only three months, unless my mind is haywire."

Jackie looked at him exasperatedly, tiredly, happily, and she looked slightly scared too.

Jack frowned and took off his shoes before he walked over to Jackie, and had her sit down, he sat across from her.

"What's wrong." he said plainly, he loved his wife but he wanted to get this over with soon so he could get a good night's sleep.

Jackie bit her lip. And chewed on it for a bit before she said something inaudible.

Jack gave her a look and Jackie spoke up.

"I'm pregnant."
