Chapter 65

March 28, 1956

Jackie stayed close to Jack for the rest of the time Teddy was there. Whenever he looked at her and Jack wasn't watching she would give him a glare that could kill.

She was relieved when he left, she awoke a seven that morning, the morning sickness had come at three and she had re-awoken with Ted leaning over her.

She had slapped him and whisper yelled,"What the hell Ted?"

"I'm leaving my darling Jackie, may I have a farewell kiss?" he asked.

"Shut up." Jackie said and turned away from him, accidentally bumping Jack so he stirred.

Ted sprinted out of the room as Jack was sitting up.

Jack yawned and looked over at Jackie,"Oh hi Kid, good morning."

"Morning bunny." Jackie said.

"Teddy's leaving at seven, what time is it?" Jack asked, looking around for his watch.

He eventually spotted it and looked at the time before he jumped out of bed.

"Jack?" Jackie called, still in bed.

"Ted's leaving." Jack called.

"Careful!" She called, knowing he was still recovering from the sickness.

A few minutes later, when she was up with her hair brushed and everything, but still in her pajama's Jack came into the room.

"Want me to make breakfast?" Jack asked.

Jackie shook her head,"No, you're going back to work tomorrow, I'll make it."

Jack kissed her cheek,"What would I do without you?"

"Crash and burn." she said cheekily before she walked out of the room to make breakfast. Little knowing what she was to find.
