March 12, 1956

Unfortunetly on their way to dinner they were seen by a news reporter and when that news reporter trailed the cab that took the Kennedy's to the restraunt, other press reporter's got intrested and found out it was the young senator and his wife and child.

Despite this they managed to get rid of the majority of them by telling the cab driver they'd pay extra if he sped up.

When they got to the restraunt only two cars of stubborn press men were there.

Jack put on a fake accent and started speaking to Jackie.

Jackie hid Bella while putting on her own accent.

The press men looked at each other and stomped away, thinking they must have followed the wrong cab.

Jack grinned at Jackie and she grinned back, before they entered the restraunt.

It was a beautiful place, and Jackie knew Jack had picked it out for her, not for him, she knew he liked loud and dirty pubs whereas Jackie enjoyed quiet, elegant restraunts.

"Do you have ze reservetions?" the french man at the front desk asked.

"Yes, under Kennedy." Jack said.

"Mrs. and Mr. Kennedy I apologize let me take you to ze table." he said.

The two followed him, Bella being strangely quiet, as though she knew what atmosphere it was and should follow it.

Later...

"French restraunt isn't really your taste Jack." Jackie laughed as he scanned the menu.

Jack laughed and looked up.

"No it isn't, I'll just eat what you eat and I'll probably not starve." he said.

Jackie laughed, at that moment Bella started crying.

Jackie sighed and said to Jack,"Hold on I need to feed her."

When she came back they started up another conversation.

"So, what exactly is the purpose of your meetings here anyway Jack?" she asked as the waiter left with their orders.

Jack shrugged,"Something about trying to get the New York congress to accept a law Lyndon Johnson wants to pass. I swear, anything that man wants is done like this!" he snapped his fingers.

"Quick and efficiently."

Jackie laughed.

Their meals were served up.

"Thank you Mon Ami" Jackie nodded the the waiter.

"It iz my pleasure Mrs. Kennedy." before he left to serve another table.

Jackie took off a bit of bread from a cresant she ordered and brought it to Bella's mouth.

Bella's face wrinkled and she faced away from the bread, Jackie sighed.

"Again Jackie." Jack laughed.

"She isn't supposed to start eating actual food till six months."

"Be quiet." Jackie said under her breath.

Jack laughed and they returned to their food.
