Jack clawed his hands through his hair and his wife screamed in the room next to him, he just wanted to be there for her, the rest of the Kennedy clan was here, including Ted who'd driven three hours, and his girlfriend Joan.

Jack sat down and put his head in his hands for about ten seconds before he jumped back up again and nervously paced, it was taking far longer then Bella's labour had and apparently there'd been some complication's with the baby, since the near miscarriage.

Jack took Bella from her aunt, Patricia's arms and bounced her up and down while pacing.

Suddenly Jackie's scream's haulted and crying came from the room.

Jack's heart skipped a beat... no...

But, no. It was happy crying, he breathed a sigh of relief and sat down, with Bella, who was watching him quietly.

A nurse came out of the room and smiled at Jack,"Senator, come in and meet your new daughter."

Jack sighed in contentment and walked into the room and smiled at his wife who was panting heavily with a tiny white bundle in her arms.

Jack sat down on the hospital bed and looked down at his new daughter.

Jackie blinked at him tiredly and gave him a weak smile.

Jack took her from her mother's arms and bobbed her up and down, the little girl grinned at her father.

"She's beautiful." Jack muttered.

"I know." Jackie whispered from her bed.

Jack knelt down beside her so they could both see their baby daughter.

"She look's like Kick."

Jack and Jackie turned to see elderly Rose Kennedy standing their and looking at the baby, eyes slightly watering.

Jack looked at the baby and saw the uncanny similarities between his daughter and late sister.

"She does." he whispered.

"After your sister?" Jackie asked.

"Only if you agree." Jack said, though he knew he could never think of the child by another name now.

"I agree." Jackie nodded.

"Kathleen Agnes Kennedy." Jackie said.

Jack shook his head,"Kick." he said.

The baby smiled up at him as he said the name.

A nurse came in with a birth certificate,"I've filled everything out." She said.

"I just need to name."

"Kathleen Agnes Kennedy." Jackie said.
"Kick." Jack muttered.

Baby Kick giggled and reached up for his nose and grabbed it.

"Mischevious." Jack grinned.

Kick giggled again.
"Good. I like that." Jack said, tapping her on the nose.

Kick smiled largely at him before giving a giant yawn and closed her eyes.

"Night Kick." Jack whispered.
