When Jack arrived back at the hotel he expected Jackie to be in low spirits, she had just visited her mother. However he didn't expect her to be knees up to her head crying with Bella clutching her unicorn in the crib looking at Jackie.

Jack closed the door and rushed over to his wife.

"Jackie! Jackie! Kid! What is it?"

Jack sat down next to his wife and Jackie continued sobbing, not looking up. Jack wrapped his arms around Jackie and repeated the question,"Kid. What's wrong?"

Jackie looked at Jack, raising her head from her knees and looked at him,"Oh Jack." she said quietly.

"What's wrong Jackie."

Jackie looked at him for a long while before she burst out,"It's what my mother said."

Jack felt anger rise in him immedietly.

"She said Arabella was ugly and asked if I was babysitting her because she thought you dumped me."

Jack stared at her and clenched his fists before he sighed and seemed to let his anger go before he muttered in her ear as he hugged her,"Don't let her get to you."
