December 6, 1956

Jackie groaned as she heard the crying of Kick, it was two AM, Bella usually awoke at six now, not needing to be fed much anymore, pretty soon the cry was joined by another though. Jackie groaned, this would be difficult.

Jack moved around as if about to wake up beside her, his ear plugs had worked for one babies cries, apparently not two.

Jackie stood up and heard Jack groan, she looked and saw him covering his ears.

"Why couldn't these work..." he muttered and sluggishly got out of bed.

As soon as he was up Jackie hustled into the infant's room,"Jack hold Bella." Jackie said and picked up Kick to feed her.

After feeding Kick, Jackie set her down and took Bella, who didn't need much being her age and it not her regular feeding time.

After finishing Jackie yawned and she and Jack sluggishly left the room and went to bed.

8:00AM

Jackie yawned as she finished the pancake she was making for Jack, luckily he didn't have to go into the Senate until 9:15 which meant he probably had about fifty minutes if he woke now.

Jack as if on cue stumbled into the kitchen and yawned,"So what's it like not having morning sickness?"
Jackie laughed,"Very relieving."

Jack grinned,"I'd think so."

Suddenly a break in the peace was sounded by Kick crying in the living room, where she was playing with Bella.

"Can you...?"

Jack nodded and took the pan from Jackie as she went to take care of Kick, who was probably hungry.

After taking care of that Jackie came back and took the pan back from Jack who looked very unsure of himself, and was awkwardly tilting it side to side.

Jackie rolled her eyes and took the pan from him and he left to sit at the table, and read the news.

Jackie took out the two pancakes she'd cooked for she and Jack and sat down.

She had mashed mangoes in Bella's high chair and intended to give her some pancake, Bella actually sometimes ate some.

Jackie picked up Kick and Bella and brought them into the kitchen.

She frowned and passed Kick to Jack and placed Bella in the booster seat and began feeding her as Jack attempted to balance Kick on one knee and try to eat breakfast, it wasn't really working since Kick was trying to grab the pancake off his plate and he only had one free hand.

Bella was full after eating most of the mangoes and three pieces of pancake and seemed sleepy so Jackie told Jack she was going to put Bella to bed.

She came back down and Jack's hair was full of syrup.
"Wha...?" Jackie asked confused, Jack was glaring at Kick who was smiling like an innocent angel.

Jackie checked her watch and gasped.

"What?" Jack asked and turned toward her.

"You need to get to the Senate or you'll be late for that meeting!" she said.

"What!" Jack exclaimed.

"God but my hair!" he muttered before he jumped up, handed Kick to Jackie and raced for the door.

"Have a good day!" she yelled.

"You too!" and Jack was gone.
