December 31, 1956 11: 57PM New Years Eve
Jackie smiled with her family, at her wonderful husband, her beautiful daughters, she smiled upon life itself.
It had been a wonderful year despite some hardships, they had pulled through, the Kennedy's always pulled through.
She looked at the clock, it was almost a new year.
She felt a hand squeeze her's and she looked over at her husband, she cut out the rest of the people at the party, she cut out time itself, she just looked at her husband, her wonderful husband.
"10!" Jackie heard the chant begin.
"9!" She grasped Jack's other hand.
"8!" she gazed into his beautiful green-gray eyes.
"7!" she remembered every moment good and bad throughout the year.
"6!" she moved closer to him.
"5!" he moved closer to her.
"4!"
"I love you" he muttered.
"3!"
"I love you too." she said.
"2!" they each moves one step closer to each other.
"1!"
"To a wonderful year." Jack muttered.
"0!"
Their lips crashed together, in sudden desperateness.
It was a new year and they'd face it.
Together.
