Keith's POV"That's our sales this year, sir."
My brows furrowed looking at the pile of papers that my financial accountant showed me. I asked him to give me reports of all our transactions this year.
"How did this happen?"
I tried so hard to stay calm even though deep inside, I wanted to yell at him.
"I-I don't know how it happened, sir. I was surprised too when I found out that there's a discrepancy. I kept on checking the sales everyday, sir, I promised."
Napailing ako ng marahas. "This wouldn't happen if you did your job right. Are you sure you doubled check all these before you confronted me?"
He nodded nervously. "Yes, sir."
"Then where the hell did the hundred million go?!"
I never had a problem like this in my business. I keep track of the company's expenses. I made sure they were correct. Nalingat lang ako ng ilang linggo then this happened.
I may sounded like a mean person, but I do not trust people when it comes to finances. I have trust issues. I make sure I keep in track with everything with regards to my business since I inherited this company from my dad. I wanted to maintain and improve the company he built, so he would be proud of me. I did everything I could for the company. That's why I spent more time in this company than be with my family. I disregarded my family, so they left me.
I felt like anytime soon, I would lose my business too.
I messed up again!
"S-Sir, d-do you want me to investigate?"
I stared at my employee, and he looked so nervous. Probably because I looked really mad right now.
"I will investigate it myself," I said in anger. "Go back to your office and do your job well. I'll call you again."
"Y-Yes, sir."
He went out of my office, and the moment he closed the door, I crumpled the papers infront of me and threw it forcefully on the wall that it bounced back to me.
"Ahhhhh!!!" I screamed in frustration.
This was very frustrating!
My dad, grandma and my mom entrusted me to run the company tapos ano nalang ang sasabihin nila pag nalaman nila na may nawawalang pera sa company?
I massaged my temple. I wanted to think straight. I calmed myself down.
Nung medyo nabawasan na ang init ng ulo ko ay kinuha ko ang telepono ko and dialed my secretary's number.
"Yes, Sir Keith?"
