The kitchen was packed for breakfast the next morning. As I came in Mrs Weasley was busy making a tonne of food. At the head of the table with there feet up was Tonks, Remus, Sirius and Mr Weasley. The other end was packed with gingers and Hermione.

“Good morning Electra. Sit down and I will get you some toast.” Mrs Weasley said in her usual kind tone.

“Where?” I joked. There were no seats left so I jumped onto Georges lap.

“Oh god you are heavy!” He huffed sarcastically. Mrs Weasley gave me a smile and handed me a cup of coffee. George tried to eat around me.

“We are going get all of our stuff at Diagon alley today.” Mr Weasley said in-between bits off his toast. I thought we were leaving it a bit late but oh well. Mostly people went by flu powder. I tagged along with Fred and disappeared there. Unlike yesterday Remus had given me the money, just enough for my books. When we arrived it was packed with Hogwarts students and their parents. We went into Flourish and Blotts, squeezing through the crowds. I was reading my list as I went in.

“Does this look right to you?” I asked the twins pointing out the Defensive Magical Theory by Wilbert Slinkhard.

“They never make mistakes.” Fred said as he picked up his book for standard spells grade seven.

“Maybe it’s the new Defence against the dark arts teacher. Perhaps they are a bit soft.” George said mockingly. I rolled my eyes and grabbed the book off of the pile. Once we had paid for it we made our way to the meeting point we had arranged.

“Got everything?” Mr Weasley asked. I only had to get some books but the others had arms full of stuff. Harry had bought some new Quidditch robes; Hermione bought some unnecessary books and Ron a new caldron. We decided to travel back by flu powder; I did not want to risk losing my new books in the disapperating process. The rest of that night was full of packing and making sure the twins did not forget any stink bombs behind. We all woke up early the next morning, I woke last as usual.

“Hurry up Electra, you will miss the train.” I heard Tonk’s voice call. I rolled over and the clock said seven o’clock. Eventually I rolled out of my bed with a thud. I slowly walked down stairs in my dressing robe.

“Oh god your not even dress yet!” Remus cried.

“I will be fine.” I yawned and grabbed a piece of toast. Everyone else was changed into there Gryffindor robes; it was strange I only just noticed I was the only Hufflepuff.

“Your trunk and Midnight have already been sent to the train early, all you need is your self and your wand.” Sirius said as he shooed me out of the room. To Remus’s disbelief I got changed and we left on time. As we reached the entrance to kings cross Remus stopped.

“I have to go now, Moody and Tonks will escort Harry you stick with the Weasley’s.” He said to me hugging me. I saw Harry and the others pass me as well as a black dog. Remus rolled his eyes; we both knew it was Sirius.

“I will see you for Christmas old man.” I joked punching him on the arm. I turned to walk away.

“Electra! I almost forgot you left this on the side.” Remus called after me. In his hand he held the necklace he had sent me. I ran back and took it and placed it over my head.

“Thanks.” I breathed and ran to catch up with the Weasley’s. I got a lot of strange looks from the muggle’s since I was dressed in yellow and black robes. It was the usual sight as I ran through the barrier between platforms nine and ten. First years scurrying about with their parents chasing after them. I boarded the train and tried to find a carriage. As I found one I heard someone screaming my name.
