The Weasley twins and me!

10 years later.

10 years later…

I laid there in my soft bed, my eyes still closed. My breath is low and quiet as not to wake my silent husband lying next to me. Keeping my eye lids lowered I roll onto my side, carefully laying my arm over his chest. My head nuzzles into his warm neck and he whimpers in his sleep quietly as his head rubs down against mine. It was mornings like this I wanted to cherish and I wished it could last forever. I could feel my arm slowly rising and falling with George’s chest. Finally my eye lids flickered open, allowing the light to seep in from the windows. The warming sun burns through the window and the bright clear blue sky dazzles. George’s arm wrapped tightly around my body and his hand rested in the curve of my side. 

“Morning.” He gently sooths into my ear, running his fingers through my hair. My eyes move tenderly up to look at him. His blue eyes look back at me and a smile pinned on his face. As his lips come down and kiss my head, a smile can not help but creep onto my face. I roll over onto my tummy to get a better view. George’s hand swiftly brushes the loose hair out of my face and brings his lips to mine. The morning kiss, soft and sleepy but bright enough to start my day.

“Morning.” I mutter softly back on his lips. His hands begin to move up and down my back, slowly caressing.

“You know, the kids won’t be up for another…oh lets say half an hour.” George had a playful smile across his lips.

“What can we do in half an hour?” I asked myself out loud, teasing him. I bit my bottom lip as he pulls me in for another, more passionate kiss. I let out a small tender moan as the kiss deepens. Suddenly a crash can be heard from the other side of our bedroom.

“Damn.” George whispered as I rolled off of him. I sit up on my bed and look at the picture lying on the floor. No one was in sight, which only leaves one possibility.

“Does Harry know you have stolen his invisibility cloak…again?” I ask the empty room. A few distant giggles can be heard but not seen from within the room. George flashed me a wicked smile.

“Oh well I guess that means no dessert for Teddy.” George shouted out.

“That’s not fair!” An invisible voice called. A few seconds later Teddy appeared from nowhere. His short blue hair ruffled from the cloak. He crawled from the floor wearing his red and gold starry pyjamas. He is only ten years old. George and I laughed as he sulked and threw himself onto the bed. He sat there crossed legged and crossed arms with a big pout on his lips. He was the exact picture of Remus with the attitude of Tonks.

“And the rest of you, come on.” I call out to the corner where Teddy had come, knowing my own children would be there. Slowly but surely my eldest crawls out from the cloak. She has her fathers ginger locks and my huge green eyes. Unlike Teddy she is dressed and has a huge grin on her face. As my oldest she is six. “Good girl Nymphadora.” I smiled down at her as she jumps in the bed with us. She pushes her way between myself and George and throws her arms over her dad. And now reluctantly my twin boys climb out from the cloak. They are four, two years younger than Nymphadora. They are the same in everyway just like there dad and uncle. They have the same personality, same clothes, same face, the only thing different is the hair colour. One is ginger like there father and the other inherited my black thick hair. “Come on Fred.” I hold my hand out to the ginger boy. My son steadily scrambles over to me and I lift him high above my head laughing. I gently put him down on my lap as he claps and laughs. My other one is more stubborn like me. His black hair falls slightly in his face. “Remus…” I called out and he starts to walk wobbly towards us. George sweeps him off of his feet and rests him on his knee. Teddy mean while remains sulking at the end of our bed.
